Art direction seems consistent for the series but haters gonna hate.
This is easily my most anticipated launch game on either system.
I also gave up on DR2 due to the bosses, and I play everything on hard or higher. The chef boss for example would toss out plates that would home in on you. Not sure why age matters but I'm 22.
Game was pretty terrible tbh.
Looks ridiculously awesome, in gif form at least.
Looks awesome period based on the amount of shit going on at once. No clue why people are expecting jaw dropping graphics.
It looks like a ton of fun. Have they mentioned anything about the PC? Or is it X1 console only exclusive?
Dead Rising 3 San Diego Comic Con Demo. 24 minutes. Enjoy.

Looks better than the E3 demo but I still don't like the setting. It's just a generic open world city... I guess they can brag that the world is bigger than the first two games but I don't really care. The mall from the first game was fun and funny and well detailed.
So many games get bashed for it (Gears of War, Killzone) and have gotten quite a bit better in that regard. Never played a Dead Rising game though so I can't complain. This obsession with the colour is both hilarious and silly.

Even DR1 didn't have colour everywhere. I'm talking about most of the mall. The game is offering a city not a mall or casino with bright lights everywhere to explore. I like the art direction it's showing. it looks like we've only seen the inglewood area so far and there are four distinctive parts of the city from looking at the map and am sure the colour fans can go and see the primary colours at the mall and museums in the century city part of the map.
Yet tons of people are complaining about the color palette? Seriously?
People constantly say that gameplay matters much more than graphics -- especially self-professed "true gamers" -- but this thread is further evidence that many of them are full of shit.
It's subjective, of course, but that looked like fun, inventive gameplay, yet tons of people are complaining about the color palette? Seriously?
The fuck does that have to do with graphics?
Heaven forbid we're not fans of the color pallete of a SEQUEL to a game that had zany graphics and colorful environments.

Dead Rising 3
Forza 5
Ryse
Killer Instinct
all day one for me!!
They should, but the complexity of the simulation would need to increase tenfold or so.![]()
the windows should blow out with that explosion.
When your complaint about a game is the color palette.... IMO the devs must be doing a pretty good job. What are we...5 year olds? lol... ALL of the goofy gameplay seems to be still there.

The physics-driven glass shards would've been impressive, like it was shown here (12m49s mark): http://youtu.be/2szpliQukGk?t=12m49s![]()
