According to Polygon's Arthur Gies the PC version is entirely separate with the Xbox version meaning there is no cloud saves between Xbox/PC and there are two separate achievement lists.

I'd say that'd be almost impossible since Blue Castle (and was later renamed Capcom Vancouver) made Dead Rising 2. But they have seemed to be going in an opposite direction since 2, probably in an attempt broaden it's audience. I was waiting on reviews to see if I'd buy Dead Rising 4, but even now I am debating whether to buy it to play it tomorrow or wait for a deal.
