The movie looks like it's trying so hard to be funny. It might well be that funny, but it's definitely trying very hard to be.

I'd be more worried if it was actively trying hard to not be funny.

I had no idea what to expect from Deadpool. I was hoping it would be good, but the whole thing feels very easy to fuck up.

Great review. Nicely articulated.

Though, I can't imagine how you handle having comments enabled for them. As an (amateur) reviewer myself (and I use the word, "reviewer" loosely), most of the comments that follow, typically have me wanting to slit my wrists.

Maybe me not being bad at it would help, but I'd rather a more practical solution, and keep the comments off (or moderated).

Thanks for reading. I don't give any weight to the obviously trolling comments. They aren't interested in having a conversation about the movie (which they haven't even seen yet).

I rarely align with you on movies so this isn't surprising, EXPENDABLE.

Watched it on early screening, enjoy it throughly but keep thinking some scene will go over non-fan's head
