The soldiers obviously being American is an incredibly good indication the leak was bullshit and not worth discussing at all. WTF as to why it was given attention at all.
But for sure they are not being painted as the good guys here....
Well I mean it looks like they're being used as puppets, so I don't know if we can say they're doing it voluntarily.
Maybe the babies are part of the
Les enfants terribles proyect
And Mads is skullface
(?)
In contributing to the Mads appreciation (& Nicolas Winding Refn), I recommend ya'll watch Pusher & Pusher II. Really solid films, with the second being my favorite. I believe the first was Mads Mikkelsen's acting debut.Look at the dates

Kojima's twitter is pretty much filled with tweets and retweets about Mads.
And America has never really been portrayed as a good guy in MGS games. Snake, sure. But remember that the real bad guys are robot AI Patriots.
Mads likes to roll deep, like Skull Face.

Mads is so dreamy.
I'll be happy to recommend you some movies that he plays in!
Pusher 1-2, Bleeder, The Hunt, Valhalla Rising and the TV show Hannibal which is his best piece of acting so far IMO.
It's a pretty weird and violent movie, not as accessible as Drive so I wouldn't really recommend it unless you're curious (but sure it's a beautiful movie IMO).
You should check out Pusher, it's from the same director as well.
Thing about Mads is, even if his character is totally silent in DS he will still be memorable because of his screen presence (Valhalla Rising and whatnot)
idk between this and Casino Royale various gross fluids coming out of his eyes isn't very attractive
I need to see more movies with Mads, I've only seen CR, A Royal Affair, and...King Arthur? I think he was in that somewhere??
Is Valhalla Rising worth checking out? Drive is the only film I've seen from that director.
Just wanted to add that if you like a good melodrama, Mads is in the absolutely wonderful film After the Wedding. Don't miss it if you listen to Sigur Ros.
Quoting Julien again: "...When they started to work together, Merceron was absolutely amazed. Kojima-san takes care of everything himself. He does marketing, Creativity on P.T from A to Z, the same with Metal Gear, he worked on the game design and on the story. Something not many know is that after Metal Gear Solid 4 was finished and work on Fox Engine started Kojima-san was among those who designed the technology. Hes a true technology enthusiast, and he wanted an engine that could represent him and that allowed him to deliver the experiences he aspired to create."
Kojima is unique in the space because he does an absolute shit ton of stuff on his games. That's not to take away from what others do. One of the cool things that went on during MGS2's development is that Kojima handed out a notebook to every person on the team. And every day they were expected to come up with one new idea for the game. Each evening Kojima and Matsuhana (the assistant director) would go over the ideas and see if any would fit into the game. The idea of being able to freeze bombs came from a team member. But the ideas that got in had to be approved by Kojima. People are now talking about Kojima fanboys. But when it came to MGSV, it wasn't KojiPro being called hacks. It was Kojima. It wasn't people saying that KojiPro lost their touch. It was Kojima. If a game is great he gets credit for it, and if a game is perceived as being horrible then he takes the blame for that.
...I'm asking you to prove to me that he didn't code a graphics engine...
Can you show me where I said "he's not a major component"?

[17:00] KOJIMA: I just explained why I decided to make Metal Gear Solid, but also, there's a reason that I started making adventure games [Snatcher, Policenauts] in between... Mark [Cerny], you can do software and hardware altogether. I myself, I'm a game designer, [and] I can do visual expressions and game designing but I cannot do programming, that's one thing I cannot do... so, when I started making Metal Gear, I was still a rookie so, all programmers had more experience than I had, and whenever I told them like, 'I want the character to move like this', they would hardly get it, or [wouldn't] agree to my ideas... so it was really at that time impossible for me to make an action game as I envisioned it, so I decided to switch and make myself adventure games where I could control most aspects [including the script]... that was certainly satisfying for me up to a certain point but [it was also limiting]... I did feel like I was getting stuck [in the past]... and then the PlayStation appeared, and I took this decision to start working again with programmers hand-in-hand... the decision to [look] at the newest technology [and] work with people that can work with the latest technology, including you Mark [Cerny], of course... [23:30] With you Mark, we've been close for over 20 years... you have more experience than I have... we both work in games, we [are both] game designers, but besides that you also know about software, you know about hardware, and I don't think there's anyone else that can do all these 3 things... people that know really well software, hardware and also make games, I really don't think there's anyone else in the world, I myself don't know that much about hardware, about software, I needed to learn a lot... I am a fan [of yours and] I wanted to be close with you so I could learn more about the hardware and software, so [these past] 20 years I've been learning a lot from you... now I'm working with you Mark on Death Stranding, we're working together on this, you bring all the state-of-the-art technology... I'm very confident that working together we will be able to finally make something that no one has ever seen, something completely new...

MIYAMOTO: For a game director, I think its important to have enough programming knowledge to be able to persuade the programmers of your ideas. If you dont understand how to present your ideas, the programmers may end up evading your suggestions. Sometimes, when you ask a programmer why something isnt possible, and they ask you why you want to do that, in the course of such talks an entirely new way to solve the problem will present itself. For instance, take a situation where the player and enemy collisions arent working right. The director may say to make the enemies smaller. But with over 400 enemies in a game, updating them all would take over a weeks work. Normally the conversation between programmer and director would just end there, but what if you know enough about programming to realize that the problem is really that the collision detection is too strict? Then you dont need to change the enemies, but by changing just the player you can fix it with one line of code. Finding those solutions is what the director is there for. In another example, during a test play someone looks at the monitor and says this game is too slow! That doesnt mean you should just immediately increase the scrolling speed. The real problem is that the player sprite doesnt appear to be running despite the player diligently pressing the buttons. If you understand that, there is another way. By increasing the speed of the sprites running animation and making it look like hes moving faster, the complaint about speed goes away. Changing the scrolling speed is also very difficult for the programmers. Speeding up the sprite animation, however, is easily done. Finding such solutions, speaking the language of the programmers, and being able to converse in programming logic is extremely important for a director. Being constructive, determined, and positive are also good qualities...

Not a movie but i highly recommend to watch the Hannibal series,Mads is amazing imo.
There will be a panel for it afterward. We can expect new info like what engine it is running on, for example.I wonder if we hear more on the playstation experience in a few days

Travesty that he a never won an emmy.Hannibal is the greatest thing he has done, literally.
He is just as good as Anthony Hopkins but plays his role in a way that I think is more terrifying than Hopkins.Hannibal is the greatest thing he has done, literally.

Yep, no question. Exceptional in every way.Hannibal is the greatest thing he has done, literally.
I prefer Mads' take. Way deeper and more nuanced. If Mads' version were Lucifer, Hopkins would be his butler. He is just as good as Anthony Hopkins but plays his role in a way that I think is more terrifying than Hopkins.

And I say this as someone who couldn't imagine the point of a Hannibal TV series after Hopkins owned the role.
Yeah, it's amazing how the show broadened and deepened the world of the movie(s). Its character development outdoes even the books for sure. And visually, it was the most sumptuous show on television, bar none.i had zero interest in the Hannibal tv series because of that fact. It was like, episode 3, the OT thread people were posting screen caps of the show (cause it is a very pretty show) that i was like...shit that looks good and i can watch these first 2 episodes for free. Hooked after that.
Here is me hoping for some footage. maybe extended trailer of this one and showing some actual gameplay.

Yes. Each season was designed to provide a satisfying ending. Whatever you do, watch the first two seasons all the way through. Season 2 is brilliant, and that finale... Anything I say will sound like an exaggeration.I watched few episodes of Hannibal then I heard it got canceled so I stopped.
Does it have a conclusion for the story? I didn't google it because I don't want to read spoilers.
So without spoilers, did they anticipate the cancellation and concluded the story or they had to wrap it up last minute?
How come Mads always got shit wrong with his eyes in his roles? Casino Royale, Vahalla Rising, Dr Strange, Death Stranding, i'm sure there are others.
Don't expect that. Here is me hoping for some footage. maybe extended trailer of this one and showing some actual gameplay.

Also, Season 3 has a very definitive "ending" even though the plan was always to continue, so don't worry about that at all.
Awesome, hope you love it as much as I did.Alright! It's free with Amazon Prime, I'll try to binge-watch it this weekend. Thanks!
