Demos coming to North American 3DS eShop, too

By the way can I transfer savedata, downloaded games and demos to another SD card by simply copying them with a normal PC? I found a 16GB Memory card that would be very happy to be into a 3DS ^_^

Yes you can, I swapped mine with 8GB card using SD card slot on MBP to transfer data. Just make sure the folder hierarchy is intact.

Can't wait to play Resident Evil: Revelations. I don't really care about Mario&Sonic -- but I can't wait for Rayman Origins.
 
I wonder if Nintendo will start releasing demos for their own titles.....

And what about demos for digital gaming content? Any word on that?
 
Now we just need demos for eShop titles and I'll be happy :-)
 
13 minutes in and I die , the game looks awesome but I do not like the 3D effect(there is an option in setting to enhance the 3d Depth slider ,it has 3 options normal, strong and very strong ,will check what it does). I like the atmosphere of the game it does really feels like the old resident evil games.
 
holy cow, it looks awesome if you change the Depth of the 3d in the settings. Currently playing with very strong with the 3d slider to the top. Probably will get a headache but it just looks awesome.
 
Very Strong seems to be equivalent to what a lot of other 3ds games have their max at. Don't really see the point when you can just adjust the slider (fine tune the effect maybe?).

Anyway, game looks awesome. Just beat the demo, can't wait for retail
 
So has anyone been able to find a way around the 30 play limit? Would backing the demo data up to your computer before you play it and then copying the original data back later work?

I really don't care about being able to play the demo more than 30 times (I probably won't even be able to play this demo more than once, I can't play zombie games >.>), I just want to know if it's possible to restore the demo for OCD purposes. =P
 
Downloaded Resident Evil and it does look really really good. Played with 3D on first playthrough, then took it off 2nd time through. 28 tries left..
 
Looking forward to trying RE when I get home tonight... too bad it's releasing so late in NA - if I like it, I'll only have nine days to finish it before the Vita leaves my 3DS gathering dust until atleast April...

It is made to enhance the 3d effect on top of what the slider does supposedly

I too played through first with very strong 3d, died
2nd time through with 3d off and graphics had less jagginess, died again

Targetting, I need to get used to

Played with headphones with surround mode, nice atmosphere and sound

Definite winner
 
I just played through the RE demo once. Barely survived to the end on my first try. It looks really good, but this kind of game just isn't for me. Still, I'll keep the demo around for now, just in case I want to show it to anybody.

Try and see if you can change your region (System Settings -> Other Settings -> Profile -> Region Settings) to UK or Germany or some other country where it's available.

I doubt it. Afterall, your dirty past is carved deep in the activity log. They will always know what you did this Winter.

I get reducing heal frequency, that's a good thing. I even get reducing ammo drop frequency, that's a good thing. But my god they make the enemies ammo sponges. I ran out of ammo half-way through and then tried to fight one of the enemies with the knife; 28 stabs later, I died and the enemy was still alive.

Hell, the first enemy that burst out of the closet, I think it took 12 shots or so.

Well, does anyone know if demos are able to be rated on the eShop? I like to play everything I download for at least an hour so I can rate it (even the downloadable videos, lol).

You can always buy another 3DS.

Use a grenade on the first dude
 
So I played through the demo but died during it (I think during the last big zombie), so I started the demo up again (never exited to the 3DS menu) and this time finished it completely. When I quit to the 3DS menu, it said I had 29 plays left... so it only counted it once.

So my question is... does it count one playthrough as beating the whole demo? Or is it one playthrough as long as you don't exit to the 3DS menu? Or did I just get lucky and it counted it only once when it should have counted it twice?

You could boot up the demo and playthrough it from start to end 10 times and it would only count as one play as long as you don't exit the software completly.
 
Really enjoyed the demo. Haven't enjoyed played an RE game since RE4.

I found it looked much better with 3D Effect set to "Very Strong", a bit strange since I dislike the depth option in Mario 3D Land.

The
enemies dropping from the ceiling
gave me a real scare. Was awesome, haven't felt that in ages.
