Well why they hell not, nothing else has worked: http://www.usatoday.com/story/sport...odman-worms-his-way-into-north-korea/1947909/

Shown a photo of a snarling Rodman, piercings dangling from his lower lip and two massive tattoos emblazoned on his chest, one North Korean in Pyongyang recoiled and said: "He looks like a monster!"

Also going are three Harlem Globetrotters. Maybe they can run Sweet Georgia Brown while secretly taking over the country?

Looks like its being filmed by VICE for an upcoming HBO series.

Dennis Rodman is the troll that got typecast. He's like PhoenixDark in his first couple years on GAF, except he couldn't break the mold.

Also, I know from second hand experience that Dennis Rodman does a LOT of drugs. At least when he's in Florida.

He should have gone in drag for max shock value

Rodman is definitely alive and fabulous. I just saw him on Jay Leno last week crying about Jerry Buss.

I'm surprised the VICE guys were invited back to DPRK. The amazing Vice Guide to North Korea documentary didn't exactly put their country in a bright light. If I filmed a critical documentary on North Korea, I sure as hell wouldn't accept an invitation to go back. This has trap card written all over it.

Just chillin' with Lil Kim:

A few days into former American basketball star Dennis RodmanÂ’s bizarre and apparently impromptu trip to North Korea, Chinese state media have reported that Rodman actually met with North Korean leader Kim Jong Eun.

The two reportedly sat next to one another during a (tied!) basketball game between North Korean players and visiting members of the Harlem Globetrotters. According to Xinhua, they “talked directly to each other and laughed” throughout the game and without an interpreter. So Kim definitely speaks English.

Rodman reportedly said, “Although relations between the two countries are regrettable, personally I am a friend of Marshal Kim Jong Un and the DPRK people.”

...

I wonder if the Globetrotters had to job.

SEOUL, South Korea — Ex-NBA star Dennis Rodman hung out Thursday with North Korea’s Kim Jong Un on the third day of his improbable journey with VICE to Pyongyang, watching the Harlem Globetrotters with the leader and later dining on sushi and drinking with him at his palace.

“You have a friend for life,” Rodman told Kim before a crowd of thousands at a gymnasium where they sat side by side, chatting as they watched players from North Korea and the U.S. play, Alex Detrick, a spokesman for the New York-based VICE media company, told The Associated Press.

This one is good too. They visit NK labor camps in Northern Russia.

He was also heard saying before he made the trip "Maybe I'll see that Gangnam Style guy there".

how the hell does NK allow that "coca cola" can?
coca cola is as big of an american icon as you can get

or do the NKoreans think kim jong ill invented it like or some shit lol?

This may be the first time Coke has entered the DPRK. Cuba and North Korea are the only two countries where Coke doesn't distribute

North Korean basketball players better than Washington Generals confirmed. Seriously, though, I wonder if they tried to explain to Kim that the Globetrotters always win or if they just let them tie assuming he would just throw all the players in a forced labor camp if they lost to the Globetrotters.
