The Bulls just suck.
Worse franchise, overrated.
Got lucky with jordan.
Who wins a chip with a point guard as you're superstar only? in this day and age?

They ruined D.Rose's career

The MVP award is for the regular season, not the playoffs.

Then just look at the stats. Doesn't matter which way you slice it, Lebron was a better player than Rose in every way possible, people were still bitter that Lebron left Cleveland how he did, and voters were a little tired of voting for him. I have a feeling it may happen this season again and some overrated clown like Harden or Paul George may win it instead.

So Adidas is stuck with thousands of his shoes and 2 ad campaigns based in his rehab/return.

Plus reports that their shoes may have contributed to his injury/

As sad of a year as this is for Chicago, its not out of the norm. They haven't consistently fielded a competitive sports team since Jordan in the major sports. Its always 2-3 year peaks. Cubs, Bears, Sox, Bulls. Shame the career the city's most excited about is going the way of Mark Prior.

I still think Rose can return to some kind of form, many players have had meniscus tears -- Wade, Westbrook. It's just about if he could return 100% and ever get to play some long stretch of time again to get back to consistent top-level play. The rust and losing touch is a bigger concern than anything. Not to mention not staying top level physical, not being able to walk so much.

But I think this year, you take apart the team and rebuild. I'd only look to keep Butler and Noah if you don't get a decent offer back, but even he is expendable. Shoot for Jabari, and see if you can't put your high draft pick on the floor with Mirotic next year. :(

But LeBron led the team that everyone thought would win 70 plus games to a second place finish. Stats dont count for everything.

I guess you forgot that he also had Bosh and Wade... And has been surrounded by good 3pt shooters.

Don't get me wrong, LBJ is by far the best player in the NBA but Rose was very deserving of his award. MVP is a regular season award, and the Bulls, to everyone's surprise, had a better regular season than the Heat largely thanks to D Rose.

I didn't forget, but you are acting as if the Bulls have no good players aside from Rose.

Well is the MVP voting for the regular season or not? Everyone thought they would win 70 plus games because he's Lebron and they assume he would play like an MVP and be the best player in the league, he was, and they still gave it to Rose.

Paul George is not overrated.

Love how everyone in this thread is forgetting the Pacers exist. Ya know, the team with the best record in the league. The team who will surely have the defensively player of the year if Roy Hibbert continues the insane performance he's been putting up, and a potential MVP in PG. All this without their superstar in Granger who will return and probably be in the pack for 6th man if the year potentially. Yeah. Just forget about those guys.

Granger is done. It's PG's team, and he's no longer a superstar or Allstar.

But yeah, Pacers are the team to beat.

Yes, he is. Not saying he's not good, but the kid has like 10 good games and he's the frontrunner for MVP already. People just get excited whenever something new comes along. They're tired of the Heat, so here's the next shiny new object, the Pacers, playing good a few games into the season, so automatically PG is MVP, Hibb is DPOY, Granger 6MOY, etc.

EDIT: and in my original post I meant Harden was the overrated clown, and then added PG as someone who may win it as well, but yeah he's a little hyped up I guess would be the better term.

By "everyone in this thread" do you mean that one (1) single guy who mentioned the Heat going to the finals? The Pacers are my favourite team in the East, but what do the Pacers have to do with Derrick Rose's career potentially being ruined?

Things are going to get interesting with Thibodeau, or maybe not I'm not really a Bulls fan

Rose is great for the game. Hopefully he doesn't turn into Gilbert Arenas 2.0

It's not like this is out of nowhere. They throttled the competition in the east last year and took the heat to game 7. Hibbert averaging near 5 blocks a game almost two months into the season is no small feat. The Pacers are balling. Stop with the hate.

Still the best record lol

Spurs and Pacers. The best teams no one ever talks about

The Spurs are always in it, and EVERYONE is talking about the Pacers. It's hilarious how they show a little promise and now they're gonna dethrone the Heat lol...it reminds me of boxing, every new boxer that has a few good fights, all of a sudden he'll beat Mayweather if they ever fight.

Yep, D Rose and RG3. Could have predicted injuries would end their careers early. I don't think either of them will be the same again.

How did they throttle the East? They were the 3 seed, Miami was the 1. They went 4-2 with both Atlanta and New York (lol), and Miami ran through the Bucks and the Bulls 4-0 and 4-1. If anything Miami demolished the East up until they played the Pacers, and yeah they fought tooth and nail, and the Pacers are unquestionably the team Miami needs to worry about, but they know that already.

I think if anything the Heat are UNDERRATED right now. Wade is starting to be Wade again, and the Beasley pickup will turn out to be insanely good. Beasley IMO is Carmelo lacking a little polish. It remains to be seen what Oden can do.

This just in Lolololol Beasley is Melo! You heard it here first!

We've all seen what. Oden can do. Sit on the sidelines. His 5 mins a game he'll play in the playoffs if that will be meaningless. I'm not going to sit here and claim that the heat have fallen and they're done. Without a doubt they are still the best team in the league. That's what it means to be a champion. I don't think Oden or Beasley will have anything to do with them three-peating though should they pull it off.

All I am saying is that The Pacers are good enough and have the team chemistry to beat any team in the league in a seven game series. Heat included.

I feel terrible for the guy. I felt like he's been overrated for a while, but there is no doubt that he has Mcgrady knees.

I know how tough it is to deal with injuries as a Rockets fan. Good luck bulls fans.

Yeah, this sucks. Rose seems to be one of the better human beings among basketball players.

I don't think the Bulls will ever get another whole season out of him and he most likely will not reach the level of play he had before his two operations anyway. So much for a shot at another title.

Lbj still was the better player and more deserving.

It is an MVP award not a BP award though...
