You can tell the difference between cloth, skin, metal and paper, whereas without it they would just be flat shiny textures.

I dunno, unless they've changed how the icarus landing system (ILS) looks, I would say they're completely different. With the ILS, you still see Jensen in like a electrostatic ball, but with this new ability, Jensen disappears completely.

You can use it horizontal now but I don't know if that's what we're seeing in the trailer. It might be, it might not be.

I should be excited but I remember the how great the cgi trailer for human revo was and how the game never lived up to the tone, intrigue and atmosphere presented in the trailer, and it didn't help the game had a number of things being outsourced including the horrendous boss fights. I love cyberpunk but eidos can't fool me twice with a great cgi trailer. Especially since a proven dev like CDPR is working on 2077 which sounds far more impressive despite not as fancy trailer.
