guys guys...
Mankind Divided takes place in 2029
JC Denton was born in 2029

what could this mean.
"This darkness must end"
lul
Pretty hype trailer, outside of some cheesy writing.
Its not angel imagery....its Icarus. The meaning is vastly different than "I'm the hero"
The theme of the Jensen games is "flying too close to the sun" like Icarus. Its talking about how we have this technology to change the world, but at what cost? Do we know our own limits? Icarus flew to close to the sun and died because of it, is humanity doomed to share the same fate because we take technologytoo far? Thats why Jensen often has the "wings"
Holy shit!!! I've never played Deus Ex but this trailer had me on the edge of my seat
I should really buy Human Revolution like right now![]()

Yes. Yes you should. Make it the Director's Cut if you possibly can.
Yup, and that's why it makes a lot of sense to show Jensen 'embracing' his abilities in the trailer. At some point, he's going to fly too high.
So they made the same cg trailer as they one they did for Human Revolution, except this time around without anything interesting thematically and five times more fighting. Seems promising. ;b
Hyped.
Straight to the number one of the most anticipated game.
I know, I know, it's only a trailer ... still my most anticipated game
Will doI'm so hyped
It was my first experience with the game and I didn't really notice too much.Actually, if you're on PC I'd advise against the Director's Cut - it had a bunch of weird performance issues and bugs that, as far as I know, never got fixed. PS2/360 versions are alright though I think.

...
Untill CDPR release some CyberPunk footage
Can't wait for that one too!
Since I love HR, right now I can only imagine this new Deus Ex will be bigger, better and bolder !
Jensen is Denton's father yo.That the game happens at the same year that Denton is born.
Interesting. Sony is hosting the trailer on the official Playstation Youtube channel with PS bumpers.
Theory: This game comes out this fall co-marketed by Sony along with an official DX:MD PS4 bundle.
is this 2015???
Did we see the same trailer?
For one, it has an original Russian antagonist which is obviously meant as a political message regarding the recent events between Russia and the rest of the world. Listen to the speech he is giving. Is this character really evil? He seems like an anti-hero. Someone with different views. Someone who does not agree with the oppressive West. He does not want to be cast aside. And then they mention the increase in terrorism around the globe. Again, a subtle reference to an important real life problem. I haven't even started about the illuminati, which is a real threat many of us should fear. It might exaggerate here and there, but you should appreciate the mature story this game is trying to bring. This trailer contains a strong message. One we should not take lightly.
So... thematically, I think this game does look promising. Just like its predecessor.
are neogaf mods illuminati?
Possible locations we'll be stopping by throughout the game?

looks like London, England. Lugano, Switzerland... Plovdiv, Bulgaria... Minsk, Belarus and that X that looks like a cross hair is over Prague in Czech Republic
One of Jensen's missions takes him to Utulek Station in Prague, now a ghetto for augmented individuals
And add this tweet from Jonathan Jacques-Belletete into the mix:

he won't let it happen again

I hope we get this sword back again... The moment i got one of these in Deus Ex... i never used any other weapon.
To me it looks too thematically similar to the last game, so this game strikes me as more of a sequel to Human Revolution than an actual new entry in the franchise.
It's nothing to sweat over. Invisible War isn't horrifying, it's just really dull, unambitious, and generally inferior. It thinks that always having the choice between a ventilation duct and a lockpicked door and a conversation and a firefight is the single important thing to take away from Deus Ex's design. This distillation of player choice in every scenario. But it's not. That's why it uses universal ammo, too: for player choice, even though it's terrible and stupid. And then it's just hampered severely by the Xbox's RAM limitations, making "cities" a hilariously depressing endless series of narrow hallways and load screens. It's a poster child for what happens to a PC franchise after an exec sees a bunch of floating dollar signs in going after the console market.
Without the Deus Ex name attached it never would've been hated, just forgotten.
