Deus Ex: Mankind Divided Reveal Trailer

If they are going with the destruction route and Jensen somehow making it out at the last minute then i feel like we are going to see more of
Bratan and his organization from the Missing Link
.
I mean they hinted they were keeping a close eye on Jensen at the end,and it seemed like they had a bigger plan regarding Jensen.
Perhaps this new Juggernaut Collective is their organization,we'll see.

Btw i'm really surprised by the all the love Malik is getting both in this and the other threads,i'm hoping for Xander's return myself she was the far better(and criminally underdeveloped) character.

Its not angel imagery....its Icarus. The meaning is vastly different than "I'm the hero"

The theme of the Jensen games is "flying too close to the sun" like Icarus. Its talking about how we have this technology to change the world, but at what cost? Do we know our own limits? Icarus flew to close to the sun and died because of it, is humanity doomed to share the same fate because we take technologytoo far? Thats why Jensen often has the "wings"

Yup, and that's why it makes a lot of sense to show Jensen 'embracing' his abilities in the trailer.
At some point, he's going to fly too high.

Hyped.
Straight to the number one of the most anticipated game.

I know, I know, it's only a trailer ... still my most anticipated game :D

Never mind that his name is Adam. He's not the angel, he's the guy who means well but manages to fuck it up for the rest of mankind.

I agree... maybe this whole "hero complex" is actually self aware and gets taken too far by jensen who is seeking redemption for his failures in HR, therein "flies too close to the sun"... I think it's cool that they keep giving him wings through imagery to keep you guessing whether he will actually bring some form of salvation(he is an angel/savior) or if he ends up fucking up more(Icarus who flew too close to the sun).

So they made the same cg trailer as they one they did for Human Revolution, except this time around without anything interesting thematically and five times more fighting. Seems promising. ;b

My theory is that their core audience will buy the game regardless

So they make it look insane by adding a ton of shooty and explodey stuff so the FPS kids who grew up playing CoD/Battlefiend think its amazing

Thus gaining them 20 million more sales

Untill CDPR release some CyberPunk footage

Possible locations we'll be stopping by throughout the game?

Actually, if you're on PC I'd advise against the Director's Cut - it had a bunch of weird performance issues and bugs that, as far as I know, never got fixed. PS2/360 versions are alright though I think.
It was my first experience with the game and I didn't really notice too much.

If I did everything Jensen did in the first game (and I did, in a sense), I'd get a hero complex too: from swat to super cop to master diplomat to terminator to harbinger of paradigm-shifting choices, to dying, believing in certain death, and instead living.

I really hope there's a marvelous karmic trainwreck at the end.

tehehehe you guys are going to love this one, apparently adam's new jacket is based on/made/design by a real-life clothing brand called acrnm (http://www.acrnm.com/)

logo on adam's jacket from the trailer:

also another fun little tidbit is that it seems that adam's new shoes have a gold line on the sole of them

in anycase none of this is really importent as far as the game goes, but I thought the little details were pretty interesting and nice to see,

also you wanna know what other se character has colord soles and name brand clothes....

seriously do all of the se brand characters shop at this big fancy mall or something?? how come their all wearing such fancy crap?

Can't wait for that one too!

Since I love HR, right now I can only imagine this new Deus Ex will be bigger, better and bolder !

Well they already said that boss fights are now play as you like. So you can stealth them instead of getting forced into stupid 40 minutes battles for no reason

Interesting. Sony is hosting the trailer on the official Playstation Youtube channel with PS bumpers.

Theory: This game comes out this fall co-marketed by Sony along with an official DX:MD PS4 bundle.

And add this tweet from Jonathan Jacques-Belletete into the mix:

:O

is this 2015???

No one knows. I'm inclined to think no since they did this big reveal without dating it. I would think if it was releasing so soon they would want to get the date out there.

There is a chance they are saving the big unveil of date / gameplay reveal for someones E3 keynote but Im personally betting on April - June 2016

Did we see the same trailer?

For one, it has an original Russian antagonist which is obviously meant as a political message regarding the recent events between Russia and the rest of the world. Listen to the speech he is giving. Is this character really evil? He seems like an anti-hero. Someone with different views. Someone who does not agree with the oppressive West. He does not want to be cast aside. And then they mention the increase in terrorism around the globe. Again, a subtle reference to an important real life problem. I haven't even started about the illuminati, which is a real threat many of us should fear. It might exaggerate here and there, but you should appreciate the mature story this game is trying to bring. This trailer contains a strong message. One we should not take lightly.

So... thematically, I think this game does look promising. Just like its predecessor.

are neogaf mods illuminati?

looks like London, England. Lugano, Switzerland... Plovdiv, Bulgaria... Minsk, Belarus and that X that looks like a cross hair is over Prague in Czech Republic

It has been confirmed that Prague will play a significant role in the story

One of Jensen's missions takes him to Utulek Station in Prague, now a ghetto for augmented individuals

The Swiss one could be Davos. They kind of float over the map instead of staying still, so idk. Prague is confirmed though.

It's nothing to sweat over. Invisible War isn't horrifying, it's just really dull, unambitious, and generally inferior. It thinks that always having the choice between a ventilation duct and a lockpicked door and a conversation and a firefight is the single important thing to take away from Deus Ex's design. This distillation of player choice in every scenario. But it's not. That's why it uses universal ammo, too: for player choice, even though it's terrible and stupid. And then it's just hampered severely by the Xbox's RAM limitations, making "cities" a hilariously depressing endless series of narrow hallways and load screens. It's a poster child for what happens to a PC franchise after an exec sees a bunch of floating dollar signs in going after the console market.

Without the Deus Ex name attached it never would've been hated, just forgotten.

I remember just shaking my head when seeing that the locked door, vent and conversation npc were usually within a few feet of eachother in most cases too due to the systems limitations.

Don't know if it has been said before but I got vibes from Bourne and Samaritan demo. It also looks like they're pushing for Jensen to be viewed as both Icarus (flawed) and a messiah (angel).
