Deus Ex: Mankind Divided Reveal Trailer

Damn, we're getting Square Enix influence now with real life brands in the game. What's next, Coleman?

The replica of Adams jacket in HR is just as shitty. The jacket in-game however, is fantastic. The real thing, not so much.

So fucking pumped. As long as it is on par or better than DEHR it could be my GOTY.

Awesome trailer.

Hoping the actual game is competitive graphically. The first was kind of dated feeling at launch graphically, but I didn't mind because the game was amazing.

Can I just say as a profoundly deaf person I really appreciated subtitles in the trailer, it may not mean much but it did to me.

Anyhow I really enjoyed the trailer and this might be the first PS4 game that I am looking forward to playing.

Might as well play Deus Ex Human Revolution Director's Cut on the Wii U while I wait.

Nano augs are a cutting edge prototype tech that only works for very specific people at the time of Deus Ex, and it's fatal to the rest of the population. The Illuminati technically still exists, but they're a shattered shell of their former glory.

hey look it's real deus ex music

That's correct, also, tell me if i'm wrong (some spoilers from HR)
Jensen is the very first human with a mutated DNA that allows him to go through augmentation with no side effects, so he becomes key for the technological progress... that very same DNA would allow him to be compatible with nanomachines... and Denton is supposed to be a clone of him or something, right?
So... he's a superior human being which happens to hold the key for humanity's progress, no wonder he could be seen as a messiah

Also, does anyone know how to fix the HUD Resolution Scaling in HR?

Been wanting to finish Missing Link DLC, and maybe do another run through the game at 4K, but the HUD is so small it makes the game unplayable. Only game I have had this issue with...

THAT was a trailer, much longer and more comprehensive than I was expecting.

Hopefully this comes this year, not expecting it though.

Oh, Jesus. Can't wait to play this on PC. It's going to be GLORIOUS.

I keep getting more and more excited and probably a day away from replaying HR. Shiiiit.

Some of the shots are really good, but overall I felt the trailer was a bit weak. Too much talking, too much stuff going on. Not a strong and clear direction. I wouldn't have approved the story-board for this.

Human Revolution had a much, much better trailer.

I'll be honest: I never played HR, and I would totally jump for a PS4 Remaster. Wasn't there a Directors Cut for the Wii U that's widely lauded as the best version? I'd buy the crap out of that. Release it a few months ahead of the sequel.

HR is still the greatest trailer I've ever seen...but I did like this allot. This is now my second most anticipated game after The Division. Hot damn I can't wait.

Stahp. MGS destroys the majority of most gaming characters. The fact that it's hard to objectively characterize any of the enemies in the games as "villains" speaks volumes.
Not really, and it's quite easy to categorize them as villains with the exception of the Boss and maybe Soldius. Moral ambiguity doesn't make a shallow character great.

As we lost The Mass Effect saga, that in my opinion will be a SCI FI BATTLEFIELD, we earned a new Deus Ex, let's say that is not a bad deal....

RIP COMMANDER SHEPARD

Director's Cut is also on the PC. Includes the DLC. Best version.

I'm super glad to see a greater diversity of augmentations, since becoming a specialist is part of what made the original DX so enjoyable, but I'll also freely admit that I'm totally looking forward to New Game+ in this one and becoming a total unstoppable god in ways that weren't really possible in DX:HR.

Great Trailer.

Kind surprised the subtitle is "Mankind Divided" instead of "Humanity Divided". Humanity Divided just seems flows better to me and is more in line with the subtitle of the last game.

what im confused is what exactly is Adam's redemption..i dont remember anything in HR that would cause him to go on a road for redemption in MD

well, according to mary demarle(writer) the "redemption arc" comes to fruition due to the choice that adam made in HR and, if going by trailer, he choose
the truth is out there ending
so thus, due to this choice that adam made, he by in large feels responsible for the direction the world is going in and as we see in the trailer, it is not a good one, so, their's a sense of guilt and that's were the redemption part comes in.

All over my faaaaaceeee
EDIT: I dont even remember which ending I chose lol. I usually pick the "good" ending in games, but that metric doesnt work with HR.

That trailer is just so tasty. I can't wait. One of my favorite games from last gen, one of my favorite characters. The good outweighs the bad, I have a great deal of faith in the team with this one.

Also, fans of Michael McCann should really check out his one and only release as "Behavior" called "The Story of the Mechanical Man". You can purchase MP3/FLAC copy of it on cdbaby.com. Just a PSA for fans of this amazing composer.

I believe he blames himself for the growing conflict thats going on between transhumans and the normal non augmented. Its clear the battle is turning more and more heated and he feels his choice at the end of Human Revolution is making a lot of the conflict worse

Looks awesome. I'm stoked for this game and the previous one was excellent, but sadly this will be at least 2016. T.T Glad that Jensen is back though!

Not quite. JC is a clone of Paul Denton, who's already born by this time. But you're right that Adam's DNA, which was altered due to experiments in his childhood, is the key to medicine free augmentation. However, Megan already unlocked the secret of Adams genes (she was going to reveal it in the opening scenes of HR) and is now working for MJ12 on the Denton project.

I'm thoroughly intrigued. I'm a story-driven gamer who has historically lacked many options as such. Deus Ex looks up my alley.

Alas, I don't think I currently possess anything that'll play Human Revolution. I may have to borrow a PS3.

The hype is real. Can't wait for more Deus Ex.

Hoping for a 1st QTR 2016 release date, but would of course take a holiday 2015 release if at all possible.
