lol no.That action sequence was great. Is the game gonna play like that? Looked very Arkham series-like to me, and I can get down with that.
I wonder if I'm gonna have to play the first one to understand what's going on here?

yeah it was hamfisted as all get out, but it could have been a lot worse, the angel imagery got old fast. once was really enough.
As someone who has never really gotten into this franchise in the past, can I get this game completely clean or should I play through HR first (at least based off of the trailer)? I tried HR before but it didn't really grab me in any way.
why does everyone think it's angel imagery instead of the continuation of the icarus imagery from the last game
do they need to have adam literally being icarus and fucking burning up into the sun again or get this point across or what
I thought the trailer was very much meh. CG, no gameplay whatsoever, a strange storyline (why would ordinary humans hate humans with artificial limbs and eyes? wtf?)

I thought the trailer was very much meh. CG, no gameplay whatsoever, a strange storyline (why would ordinary humans hate humans with artificial limbs and eyes? wtf?) and a straight up explanation on Majestic 12 being behind it all right there in the first reveal trailer - which is supposed to be a hidden, behind the scenes, shadow government organization, you know. Discovering the conspiracy was one of the coolest aspects of the first Deus Ex.
A big part of it was the ending of HR... spoilers:I thought the trailer was very much meh. I think it was pretty clear in the previous game. Particularly as these are augmentations, not prosthesis for the cripple, and they add to the competition between humans, increasing the gap between the rich and the poor etc.
Besides, humans almost always hate what's different, so why would it be different in this case ?
It's a reveal trailer brah.I thought the trailer was very much meh. yeah... it always seemed just as much a class divide as any sort of 'humanity' divideA lot of them are also drug addicts. Which leads to gangs of augs.

Lol at people claiming how obvious the trailer imagery was and then mischaracterizing it as angels instead of Icarus.
It's an Icarus image.
A melee system at all would be niceAwesome. Hoping we can do some melee similar to this.
That's his VA, right? Glad he's back on board, great voice. Wondering if he recovered from his meltdowns, lol
