Chrono said:Oh and dokes (sp?) finding dexter in the meeting was all kinds of awesome. My first thought was "did he hear dexter talk or did he only arrive at the end" but all of that didn't matter in the end when he actually bought the story. Party of me felt sad that he won't be chasing dexter anymore but the story needed that, our boy needs his killing time.
Chrono said:Just watched episode 3. Yeah great episode but I don't really like the direction they're taking dexter. So what now, by the end of this or the next season he'll be 'cured' and a normal person? to hell with that. I want BLOOD.

The second season has nothing to do with the books, so that's irrelevant.Xater said:He can't become normal because there is a thrid book.![]()
Dan said:The bit with Deb telling the special agent about thewas stupid. There was no reason to make such a leap.two missing people having criminal records
Sure, but the team interviewed dozens upon dozens of people who were looking for missing persons. She notices that two of these missing persons, which may have absolutely nothing to do with the tiny percentage of missing persons found at the bottom of the bay, have something in common and suddenly it's a lead. That should have come about in a more logical manner.VistraNorrez said:I agree it came off silly, but inspiration comes like that sometimes. Any lead could be helpful.

The Storyteller said:My favourite bit was Doakes actually believing Dexter was a drug addict and being semi sympathetic. Heh. Awesome.

Also, Jennifer Carpenter looks a lot hotter this season.![]()
Stoney Mason said:meh. While I might actually agree with you somewhat they have still both been excellent seasons. And if I'm putting on my critical hat, the first season started to fall apart towards the end of the season so here's hopping that doesn't happen in season 2..
Rekki-Maru said:i was liking the new season, til this lastest episode. there's some good stuff going on but some of the plotlines seemed tacked on. they tied up the most of the loose ends from last season within the first 3 episodes, which was awsome! i hate it, when shit gets dragged on for too long. the new stuff is seeming lame though. like the whole deal with maria getting her job back..
Stoney Mason said:Different strokes. I liked it. I thought it paid off well and is an interesting comment on that women's character and women in the work place in general.

Hero of Canton said:Just watched episode 4, and there's one absolutely horrible scene towards the end that ruins all the other good work the ep does. Was just cringe-makingly bad and totally false.
See if you can spot it.
Rekki-Maru said:that's what i'm saying, it's Dexter not the lifetime channel.
Dyno said:Doakes is so bad he's good. Possibly one of the most two dimensional cliches on TV and do you see him flashing the Blue Steel? My wife's taken to making fun of him.
