Did I just steal Wreck it Ralph?

I bet that Wal Mart has accounts who plan for x amount of merchandise to be stolen or ruin, and balance the books accordingly. Of course thats no reason to steal or destroy merchandise, but I bet they plan for it

It would be funny if this screen cap came from a first cam torrent.

Same thing happened to me recently. I bought the Scarface blue ray version. I got the steelbook version which was like $39 but i was charged only $15. I didn't realize it cause I was having a conversation with someone and expected the price anyway. I didn't realize it till I got home.

You get what you paid for. lol.

Did you recently order pancakes, eggs, and sausage at McDonald's recently, only to be given pancakes, eggs, sausage, AND biscuits, for LESS money?

you stole 10 dollars from a giant mega corporation because a cashier was too incompetent to do their job properly.

who cares.

Got suckered into buying Triple Play 2002 a year late (full price IIRC). Went to go return it and they said I couldn't because it was already open. They offered me a shitty $10 trade in. My dad saw how bummed i was so he took me to blockbuster. Saw they had 1 copy of ZOE2 left (no clue it was out). The cashier dude said the game was brought to the wrong store. Wasn't in the system therefore doesn't belong to anyone so he said i can have it. My dad slipped him the $10 from before.

Best day ever.

Walmart screws up like this all the time. Back when The Dark Knight Rises came out for 22$ on DVD, they had the trilogy on sale for $17. It was supposed to be 30.

I doubt the customer service desk will even accept your $10. Customer service representatives at larger corporations like Walmart are instructed to appreciate any and all business with each of their customers. It would ruin the store's credibility if they made a mistake and then request that their customer's pay for it.

Plus, if you went in with a receipt and paid them back, the most harm would be done to the employee that made the mistake. They could be dismissed from their shift, told to go home early (missing out on valuable pay), or even terminated if it is one of many previous mistakes the employee has made.

Do not go back into the store. Ultimately, it would be wasting your time, customer service management's time, and the employee's time (and maybe wage, or even the job itself)

$10 to any single Walmart in any given day is absolutely marginal and would make no difference, whatsoever, to the department. I have a friend that works in financing at a larger Walmart near my town and he claims that every Walmart rakes in anywhere from $15,000-$30,000 dollars in profit alone every single day.

fuck WalMart.
you did what anyone at walmart should.
That place is the epitome of depression.
just shopping there makes you feel like dying.

Is Walmart really worse to their employees than every other retail corporation in existence? They all seem equally horrendous.

You didn't steal it. It was an oversight of the cashier.
You have the advantage.

I got your back. Send it to me and I'll keep it safe for when they come for you. And not because Europe won't get the Blu-Ray for another four months at least.

Europe gets the Bluray on April 4th.
Switzerland gets it a week or so earlier.

As you paid 2/3 of the price, you are only allowed to watch both blu-rays. Don't even think about touching the DVD, you filthy underpayer!

Is the movie any good?

I wouldn't feel too bad about it.

It's like when I bought Gran Turismo 1 for PSX, it was the Platinum Version, GT2 had just come out. The girl behind the counter put both GT2 disc's into the single GT1 container (just stacked them up). I found out about 10 minutes later when mom, dad and I were getting something to drink a bit further by. It's their mistake, so I didn't consider it stealing. In hindsight I guess I should've been more honest, but I felt like the luckiest kid alive that day.

Reminds me of when I was in a pawn shop two weeks after Majora's Mask came out and it was sitting there in the display case marked down to $9.99
Hell yes I bought it.

Have you seen The Family Man? Don Cheadle would not be happy with you.

If it was some mom and pop shop I might say something about integrity, but the Waltons can go fuck themselves.

you didn't steal. you just lucked out with a cashier who wasn't paying attention. You paid for the item you got, so you're fine.
