Did you ever accidentally pronounce it "Deadmau five"?

Ha, never had that particular problem as i heard about him by word of mouth.

I find most of his albums to be rather drab with some spurts of genius that i think you to have an ear for. However, i had a chance to see him live and it was mind-numbingly awesome. Like, different level cool. If you're still a naysayer after seeing one of his shows, only then do I count your negativity toward deadmau5 valid.

See. Him. Live.

I used to say The Deadmau Five as if it took a quintet to make his horrible boring music, but I never actually had a problem reading the leet speak, no.

I was listening to my local classic rock station maybe three months ago, and they were promoting a show with him there.

And he said Deadmau Five.

And I laughed.

I always think of this guy

Nah I didn't, but that's probably because I'm on the younger side of things.

Also, I guess I'm in the minority, but I like his music. Is he a douche? Absolutely. But like many musicians I follow, I don't pay attention to their personality.

I know it's Deadmouse but chalk me up to Deadmau five because I like to be facetious concerning leet speak. But now I know people actually never knew leet speak and this makes me sad.

I always call him that. Makes me feel like I'm stickin' it to him.

Also some kid from my school performs/DJs/whatever as 3lau ("blau") and I always call him thr'lau.

He's performing this weekend at the Veld Festival at Downsview Park (Toronto).

He wears a giant mouse head. That's when I knew it was pronounced 'Deadmouse.'

Haha, I always do this, much to the chagrin of my friends who are fans of his.
I had no idea it was a such a common thing.
