I think the belts look cool
I never got why so many people bring up the belts when the camera almost never moves below her abundant cleavage.
I had a huge crush on Lulu back in the day. I was extremely salty when they married her off to that fool Wakka, and I never played FFX-2 as a result.
Waist up, she's great. Waist down, dammit Nomura!!! So basically, it's a half-good/half-bad type of thing IMO.
Because at the end of the day the belts are super goofy and ridiculously over the top. I wonder how much that many belts weigh?
I always viewed The Bouncer's character designs as an important stepping-stone to what we got with Sora/Kingdom hearts. A lot of the same colors and ideas, just scaled back on the "street clothes" edginess and added in more cuteness and super-deformity.
Pence's "Dog Street" shirt in KH2 is a direct reference to The Bouncer

I still very much enjoy the design.
I don't want my fantasy characters wearing the same boring shit we do. Is it silly? Hell yes. However I find it fun and I just like it.
Same. The only issue I take with it is that it doesn't fit the environment she lives in at all.
50 lbs at least.
Or whatever a giant leather wedding dress would weigh basically.
I'm surprised so many people seem to like it. I think it's dreadful. It wouldn't be bad if it weren't for the sophomoric belt dress, which embodies the worst part of Japanese Rob Liefeld's ridiculous designs. Amazing to think this is after FFIX, which was fortunate to be full of Amano's amazing character designs.
