looks like a halo game
same weapons (mostly) same level type designs
graphics looks the same, just 'next gen' (I probably mean art style, which I'm not in love with)
People that say it looks like a 360 game, obviously have not played a 360 game recently
They sacrificed a lot for 60fps
It will make the 'hardcore' happy, but what about the casuals that the game is really aimed at, you know, to bring halo back from the dead (popularity wise)
We will find out in less than a month, millions will be sold (it's halo of course)
I'm keeping my distance, not because of graphics, 60fps (nothing wrong with 30 fps Halo either....the sudden shift to "hardcore halo fans love 60fps rawwwr" is funny though)
But mostly because I feel like if I were to play it with out reading the books, I just won't 'get it' as someone who read the books, see things and are like "this is awesome"
I want to be as excited as some people are for blue team, but I'm not cause I didn't read the books, I just know they are john's child hood friends, who I did not play with at all in the last 5 halo games....... I know Buck...but that's about it. Reading is in order, and I think that is more important than any 60fps vs 30fps
With that said.....30 fps, nicer graphics, keeping split screen would have been my choice...people will flip out over that as if they were playing halo at 60fps for the last 10 years, and tournaments were run at 30 fps for years...
because it was never about the FPS, it was about Halo being an old school shooter that didn't evolve with the rest of the modern shooters.
