How much RAM does it take to make an interesting game?
I got 5 more GB to go. Like what 1, for the system?
Double the GB, double the graphics guys.
Because 2 GB of slow as shit GDDR3 is more than enough *amirite*oh here we go with the magic 8GB GDDR5 nonsense again
It already looked CG-quality to me. What more could they have added?
Of course you can. That doesn't mean that is wise to do, but there is no reason why developers can't do whatever they want.Um, you can't dedicate most of the RAM just for graphics.

Yeah RAM doesn't matter at all. 512mb was more than enough this gen.

Hmm, what is RAM designed for in terms of games?
9GB DDR5. Sorry. Maybe next-next-gen.
1980s cg?
come on people, get a grip
already so much salt.
I wonder how much ram needs to be used as normal ram, by the system, to get nice performance.
So, what could that extra ram improve? Could they end up boosting the framerate?
Wasn't this well known already? I thought this news came out right after the PS meeting.
