Digital Titles that deserve Physical Releases

bruh I already have the physical version of MM9 though:

Seriously though, the fact that 9 and 10 aren't included with legacy collection baffles me.

Resident Evil 4 HD. I still refuse to buy that game until it gets a disc release.

Hopefully we'll get a RE4 and Code Veronica HD compilation for PS4/Xbone in the same way we got Resident Evil Origins Collection. RE4/RE5 would be a nice collection.

Woah woah you have one of these?

Indeed I do. One of my most prized gaming possessions, as Megaman 9 is one of my favorite games of all time.

I check ebay for one of these all the time but the cheapest I ever see it is around ÂŁ300. One day someone will sell it for 99p. One of these days.

Cave Story+

No, the 3DS remake doesn't count. Also, I second the Rocket League nomination.

Another vote for Hard Corps: Uprising and Ace Attorney: Dual Destinies.

Also, I may be absolutely alone in this, but I would've loved seeing a physical version of the PS4 FF7 port.

Hopefully the new version of REZ receives a retail release. REZ HD on xbox 360 is available on the Q entertainment compilation disk.

Hotline Miami.

But it got one in Japan that I can import at least, so that's something.

In light of that - Geometry Wars 3; Super Stardust Delta/HD and Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath/Munch's Oddysee would be my picks.

It would be a nice special edition item for the FF7 remake but I can't say I particularly want this. That being said I would buy it.

This, only being digital is the reason I didnt buy it, and will probably never play it unless its on a sale for $5-$10.

Bruh...

I'm bummed about it being digital-only, but I still bought it day one at full price. If there's any game that's worth it, it's Yakuza 5.

Mark of the Ninja
Rocket League
Shadow Complex Remastered
Killer Instinct (all 3 seasons)
Dead Nation
Ori and the Blind Forest

I have about 40 digital-only Vita games that I'd buy physical releases for.

At this exact moment I'd like a physical copy of Helldivers because the filesize is even bigger now, the game is hot again, and there was actually a Vita version listed on Play-Asia for a month before the PS4 disc came out. It never happened and was such a tease. Also, the game is amazing.

Sayonara UmiharaKawase, Hatsune Miku: Project Diva f (Vita), can't think of anything else will post again or edit later.

heh, I was one of the lucky few to purchase it straight from Capcom for about $40. I'd never sell something this awesome, though :P

I just picked up the Limbo/Trials HD/Splosion Man collection on 360. If I recall there was a small series of XBLA retail packs including one with Pac Man Championship Edition

None.
No digital only titles should be released physically.
I'd be happy if NO titles were ever released in physical form again.

The joys of a digital collection are too much when coupled with the benefits to the environment,
not to mention the ability to keep the wife from complaining the game museum is exploding into the home office...

I really hope Killer Instinct gets a complete retail release. They did it for S1 but I'd still like to have everything on one disc.

You are incorrect.

Paper, Please had this thing where if enough people bought some collectors' edition on a site, then they'd produce them but it didn't get enough buyers.

Shame, because I really wanted that. It came with like a notebook, and a game passport or something (and the God-damned rubber stamps!).

I can't remember what the site was called. I deleted the bookmark after the project died.

also, I wish Crimson Dragon would be released physically, too.

Is this the site ? https://www.gamersedition.com/

I mean, if Capcom was able to do a physical run of DuckTales Remastered across four platforms around the same time (Even PC got a retail run in some countries), surely Sega could've done a small print run of this for 360/PS3.

Many of the ones listed. I would have liked to see ones for Soma and Outlast. I hope Outlast 2 starts the trend!

Well if Super Meat Boy is getting a physical release on PS4 (in EU and maybe NA+Canada?)... I really hope some of those horror indies will come in retail form too. :P

Yakuza 5 english
Fatal Frame 5 english
Ace Attorney 5 english
I see a pattern here.

Only if they have extravagant old school big box releases:

Cave Story (PC)
La Mulana
Spelunky
Kentucky Route Zero (when finished)
The Witness (maybe?)
