It's funny, because that screenshot is so conflicting: it's like "meh" in terms of HD gaming in general but "HOLY CRAPBALLS GORGEOUS" for this series.

On the one hand, it's annoying that there's yet another delay. On the other hand, it frees up a decent amount of money for me in March.
An April release would be fine by me.

Somebody just needs to license the game, then get a quote somewhere on the box comparing the Disaster Report/Raw Danger games to Deadly Premonition. Release for $20-$30, sell a bunch.

I didn't buy DR until way after launch, so don't know what it was originally priced at, but Raw Danger was apparently a cheap enough license that they could get away with the changes they made to the title and still launch at $20, so.

NCSX ending up being cheaper than PA (for me anyway)

I really hope this gets localized! I loved the first two games for PS2, and will gladly pre-order this one, if it's ever released.

ZZT2 (which focused on flooding) was delayed after a tsunami, I think it was 2004?

My memory is hazy, but I know that was one of the (several) delays that game had.

Just of note Zettai Zetsumi 4 had a large educational section planned into it(what to do in case of disasters etc) so on the other hand it's actually possible this has the opposite effect of improving sales.

Yeah I find it hard for it to be released anytime soon. If Disaster Day of Crisis is still on the shelves anywhere in Japan it'll probably fade into obscurity.

However I still want the game to come to the US.

There was no current release date. When it got delayed from March/April it got moved to TBD. Was definitely not going to come out before the summer/fall.

Will probably be held back until at least fall/winter now. Irem still needs to release the game this year because it's all they have besides dokidoki suikoden to keep them in business.
