90's commercials were weird.

The SMRPG commercial was about a grandpa having some sort of seizure while trying to tell his grand kids the tale of Mario and the Seven Stars.

That one was cool. It stuck with me so much that I ended up quoting it for a whole month. Ahh, to be an easily manipulated child. Those were the days.

Agreed. I love Earthbound but I remember skipping past these ads thinking they looked stupid. The campaign did nothing in EBs favor.
