The 90s were a mistake.
They were great.
Far better than just plastering up ads with review scores or some horrible actors trying to simulate a family and all that shit.
The 90s were a mistake.

That one was cool. It stuck with me so much that I ended up quoting it for a whole month. Ahh, to be an easily manipulated child. Those were the days.90's commercials were weird.
The SMRPG commercial was about a grandpa having some sort of seizure while trying to tell his grand kids the tale of Mario and the Seven Stars.

just wow
This commercial legit put me off from trying this game for like 15 years. Fuck NoA for that.
That era of Nintendo commercials were great. Thicker skin back then too.
I forgot about Double Dare. That show was great
Oh god. Never thought I would see that again. The 90s, man... I remember this magazine ad for SWIV 3D, which I thought was pretty nasty. LOL

Ahh the grossness of the 90's

Sad thing is Nintendo was blatantly ripping off a scene from Monty Python.

This is still the worst idea for a marketing campaign I've ever seen for a game, and I say that with zero bias whatsoever.
Excellent thread.

Kriss Kross pants....oh no.
They were really shoving Looney Tunes down our throats that decade for some reason
Even pre-Space Jam.

This is what we did for fun back in the 90's
The two commercials for Jam Sessions remain the most disturbing I've ever seen.
I'm more surprised they even said second best. I admire the honesty and awareness
Excellent thread.

Eh.. I'd say their GameCube era ads were worse. This seems like the gross out stuff all too common in the 90s. But ads like this reeked of Nintendo going through some pretentious emo phase that period.
