best stealth game ever made with the best lore and gameplay loop. the level desgin is a masterpiece,
how the FUCK did we go from this to deathloop and Redfall? nah dawg this is just sad
You misspelled Thief: The Metal Age. Dishonored is VERY good, but it is no Thief.

I like Prey just a tad bit better personally. But you are right, the “old” Arkane games are amazing.

Platted all the Dishonored games on Ps4, now I'm going through them again on Series X as part of the Arkane collection.
Still insanely good.
Definitely going to go through Prey again too.

Each and every level is amazing in this series. With this, I’m suggesting you must play every DLC as well. I need Dishonored 3

All the Dishonored games are pretty great. Kinda making me wanna go back and play through em all again. And for those saying Prey is better... man, tough choice if I had to make one. They're both so great! I still need to beat Deathloop! It just stresses me out!

I loved the first one so much, I also loved death of an outsider, the second game has been in my backlog for a long time, I don’t know why I played the spin-off DLC first but that’s just how it happened. Deathloop was decent but definitely a lot worse than these games.

Would love to play this with a 60fps patch on consoles. I tried playing it multiple times on PC and no matter what my frame-rate was I always felt stutter.

Dishonored 2 is indeed fantastic! A 60FPS update for current gen would be great... But besides that: I thought Deathloop was fantastic as well and should not be in the same list as Redfall...
Wait the game is 30 fps on both PS5 and Series X?

They bit so much more than they could chew with Redfall

Whoever decided that Arkane should make an open world GAAS shooter should be banned from the industry
The problem is that the game feels somehow smaller and with less content than dish2...

Like in 10 hours i was already way over half game while in dish2 in 8 hours i was still exploring the second level...(i remember this because reviewers said that the game was 8 hours long lmao)

The powers are absolute shit and not interesting like dish saga (and less in number), the plot and lore was shit...

So i have no idea what was the big thing they tried to chew...the multyplayer part? even without it the game is terrible.

Fucking tokt felt more immersive sims than redfall...

One of my favorite games of all time. Also, the the trophies/achievements are so well designed that they make it one of the most fun platinum experience.

Seriously, after platinumed 1,2, and death of the outsider, I was so insatiable that I dug out my ps3 and bought a copy and tried to do it all over again.

I actually haven't really played it yet. Tried on consoles a couple of times but the 30fps was just not working well for this type of game. I'll have to buy the PC version at some point since they didn't bother patching it.

Yes this game is brilliant. Deathloop scored even higher I think, but honestly its shit compared to Dishonored 2. The level design of this game is through the roof, especially the Clockwork Mansion.

This game is fantastic, seriously. I was already a big fan of the first one but the sequel really did it for me. Between this and Prey, Arkane broke out some of the most impressive level design I can think of. I still think of both as a sort of benchmark.

The one thing I will freely criticize is the absolute shit audio mix and typically stiff controls though. This was an issue Arkane had in both games. Play them with headphones and it's sometimes legit nonsense where sounds come from which in turn makes stealth confusing at times. Arkane also had this weird "boxy" feel to their controls where my dude/dudess feels like they're a large box I'm maneuvering. Hard to explain lol. Anyway. It'd be a 10/10 if not for those issues but still close to a masterpiece to me.

AS a side note, I love how Deathloop was bombarded with absurd scores while being literally a dumbed-down, smaller and cornier Dishonored. Somehow having a shitty edgelord aesthetic is praised when Arkane had created this entire cool world with deep lore with Dishonored for years without receiving praise for it. I bought Deathloop Day 1 because Arkane and I still can't wrap my head around those pity scores. They made fucking Prey and Dishonored 2 and Deathloop is the big critical breakout? Whaaa?

Yeah, even though the story is boring the gameplay is very, very good. It's better than the first one gameplay-wise. I do not understand those who say that the first one is better wrt gameplay. Dishonored 2 refines and improves the gameplay of the 1st.

The combat/takedowns are not especially a strong point of the game in either. Whenever combat goes "hot" in either, I just don't enjoy playing them and reload. I felt like the first hung together better. One thing I disliked about 2 especially was the large maps that were plastered in objective markers. Another thing is that the game seems to flow worse, and I think Delilah was just a very overused and cheesy villain compared to the troubles of the first.
