Aha, is that question aimed at me or the person who posted images of something that took spoilers to explain their context? It could've easily not been one if they were shown off in a preview or just alluded to in an earlier episode.

these are so amazing. i absolutely love the background art in this show. also, i dont know how they do it, but the colors really pop in this show. backgrounds are so lush with a certain sheen, like they drew them, took an instagram photo and replaced it. i dont know how to describe it, but theyre a pleasure to look at.

Couldn't find an old diagram I saw explaining this so I remade it. Most of it is straight forward, though Mabel's had sweaters with both those shooting star and llama designs so far. Larry King mentioned llamas in headhunters so I'm guessing that spot is for the wax dudes.

The fridge creature from the inconveniencing might be for ice, though it'd be weird if such a non character would get its own spot unless its going to return. Ice itself has been a plot device a few times, creature in fridge, time baby, episode 9 spoiler:
running into time traveler

Interesting Robbie gets a whole spot himself even though I suppose they have alluded to what his paranormal ties might be. Wonder how long before he gets his own episode and if it'll hook into certain events in episode 9.

It's kinda a bummer they're literally on the screen for 1-2 seconds sometimes. Usually have to go about frame advancing to catch a lot of it.

I cant wait for that episode so the advertisement on Disney Channel will hype it up as a world changing event like they do with every GF episode
And then really its something silly like Stans collection of dresses

I dunno, I don't know what show Disney is advertising because its not the show I watch and love.

They sure do mention that it's Oregon a lot. I mean, I love it, but it's a little strange... I can't think of any other cartoon regularly mentions that kind of thing (aside from fictional cities). Maybe I'm just not used to Oregon being all over the place on TV or something, haha

Edit: That foreshadowing did not disappoint. Another incredible episode.
 
The show looks fine on TV but it's just gorgeous watching on the Disney site without shitty TV compression. It's too bad stuff like this rarely gets released on Blu-Ray.

Edit: I'm also mildly amazed that they stream shows in such good quality on the Disney site. I kind of assumed they'd have streaming video quality from 2006.

Holy shit, you're not kidding, that looks FABULOUS. The Disney site is usually where I watch the episodes, but my friend's connection is much better than mine and wow. Amazing.

I hope they keep putting new episodes up for us cable-lly disinclined :(

Srsly, though, Dipper is ridiculously adorable. For an insane 9-year-old.

been watching the show this week. Sooo good. Writing is clever, jokes are witty and the cast is beyond charming. Dipper is probably my fav' character for now. As for Ep 9...

Poor Dipper. Can't believe they made Mable so cruel.

The character I'm most suspicious of in the show right now is Sues. He seems to know way too much and has too good a feel of things to just be coincidences.
 
Absolutely loving this show, getting a Hey Arnold! vibe from it, I used to really like the paranormal episodes and this is a whole show based on it.

The art style and music is fantastic, as is the humour. I need to see more, just watched the first 9 episodes back-to-back. It's not known of at all here in the UK, which is a shame.

I want a movie.
 
Just FYI there is a marathon going on right now starting with the Legend of the Gobblewonker going all the way up to the most recent episode The Time Traveler's Pig. If you are looking for a good point to jump into the series try it now.

Pretty sure that even Randy Cunningham: 9th Grade Ninja has either a Halloween or Christmas special and it hasn't even begun airing yet, so it's not out of the question.

BTW speaking of 9th Grade Ninja I call dibs on that OT since I have a bunch of friends working on it! :D (It's going to be amazing, some of the later episodes are so frantic and off the wall and just hilarious. I really hope it does well)
 
So I was super bummed out when I checked iTunes just now for a new episode and saw there isn't one.

Do we know how long the hiatus will be?
 
This show looks like the kind of show I would love. The clips look great. Is this show on any video subscription service? I really want to watch it.
