I believe it's been mentioned that Zootopia is a working title. Then again, silly one word titles are in vogue at WDAS.

Anyway, this is the part that excites me most:

In a nod to how the real world has animal habitats, Zootopia is divided into different regions for different animals of different environments. There's Sahara Square, a fabulously wealthy desert region patterned after Dubai and Monte Carlo complete with casinos and brightly lit nighttime cityscapes; the winter wonderland of Tundratown, where ice mountains are transformed into high rises; Little Rodentia; and the overwhelmingly cute and sweet Burrow Borough, home to a billion bunnies.

Could have quite some variation of settings and there could be a lot of fun stuff to be done in this world.

Was hoping that they would reveal more info for Giants as well, especially whether it is another adaptation of Jack and the Beanstalk (I hope not). Too much to expect I suppose, was surprised that info from Zootopia was released given how secretive they have been recently.

A new image was also released to tease the characters of Big Hero 6:

Actually the plan for Hollywood Studios is to just keep that front area of Great movie ride, the old hollywood stuff and tower of terror and completely repurpose/bulldoze the rest of the park and split it up between Lucasfilm and Pixar. Apparently, attendance has dropped so poorly at that park since Universal opened Harry Potter land that Disney agrees they need to do something substantial. The biggest thing slowly them down is they get queasy about spending money even though its the only way they are going to attract guests.

My wife and I visited Disney World this spring and we definitely felt that away about Hollywood Studios. The "flow" of the park just doesn't work as well as the others and a lot of the stuff does seem dated.

Are they getting rid of The Great Movie Ride? :(

Anyway is it likely we'll get at least some good theme park news?

1) No. If they get the funds the plan is to refurb it remove certain sections and replace with others

2)No. Disney announced in advanced there would be teasers for projects but no details. I had heard they wanted to announce Star Wars plans on the 2 year anniversary of announcing Avatar. But that may be pushed back to Spring next year after NGE overrunning in costs ... also that will have an impact on all WDW related projects.

To anyone attending the Disney infinity panel tomorrow, if you don't want the figure they hand out let me know. I'd be interested in purchasing it from you.

Alan Taylor is at the panel, so it doesn't look like Marvel totally hates his work and threw him under a bus like some rumors suggested.

Captain America sounds pretty good. They definitely need to nail the new feeling of Cap in the modern world to make the character work moving forward, so I hope the directors really make an impact.

I'm amused by how it sounds like a lot of the Marvel footage is being censored because the Disney Expo needs to be G rated or something? Minor swearing, violence, and flipping the bird seems to be cut out from stuff they already showed at SDCC. Lol.

Come on Disney, drop that Tron 3-based announcement! This'll be me when (if) it happens.

There will never be a Tron 3. The second didnt do well. That talk was just PR nonsense to get people to buy Tron legacy dvd/bluray's. It has long since entered development hell.

They just gave it a subtitle recently, I'm pretty sure it's slowly moving forward.

Edit: I can't find the damn thing, what the heck? It wasn't even a good subtitle, it was really lame.

Anyway the people involved have been talking about it as recently as last month so it's not like Disney is just sweeping it under the rug.

Thought the director said the script for Tron 3 was still being worked on after he finished up Oblivion.

So Tomorrowland is like.... a Disney conspiracy movie? Da Vinci Code with Disney history and legacy instead of Christianity? @_@ Weird.

The subtitle was Tron: Voyage.

I know. It's awful.

Silas Lesnick: But things get really bad when she says she doesn't want the film to be like, "One of your silly cartoons".

Silas Lesnick: Walt looks very serious and then finally speaks.

Ya done goofed, Travers.

Some really neat shots of vintage DIsneyland with Hanks' Walt giving a tour.

I can't wait to see this.
