If FFXIII does ship in December it will essentially provide Sony with the opportunity of a new PS3 launch in Japan. Regular and special edition bundles are a certainty. The question is whether Sony will have a smaller PS3 redesign to go along with it.

You know I cant state how I know this but at the same time its common sense guys. The longer this game takes the less appeal. MGS4 is now out and it was announced around the same time as FF13. Do you think they just pulled engineers and prod from FF versus for no reason???:lol :lol . This is now the time to create playable builds for TGS that will be highly polished and provide above standard user experience. Sorry I talk industry slang a lot :lol :lol :lol

we've seen a number of things from MGS through out time, it actually appeared in playable form at TGS07 for a starter

FF? we've seen one movie, then a NEW FACE in an extra 10 seconds extended movie....

I'm not sure how the progress of another game reflects the progress of a completely unrelated project.

Common sense would say you can't imply one from the other surely?

haven't you guys heard? EA is back to publishing FF in the states

Don't worry guys. If TGS comes and goes without ZOMG FFXIII BLOW OUT, then evilone will be sacrificed to appease the gods. Everyone wins this way.

I wish. With MGS4 complete users will begin to question as to why either FF13 project is not out yet. We get this all the time here and when I use to work at Sony. I guess you have to understand how the industry works to get what I am trying to say...Oh well I have to get back to RB. Later guys

Not to be funny, but i doubt anyone outside the top people in EA would be involved in talks regarding any sort of deal of that magnitude.

Where is 'here'? which EA are you located at?

Please let everything evilone has ever said come true. If FF13 really does miraculously come out this December and then within the financial year in the USA, I'll be in heaven. I seriously seriously doubt it is possible though.
 
I hope Evilone is right about this one. I'll actually be in Japan in December for Study Abroad. I'll lug along my PSTriple just for this.

I heard that Daigeki said that they are working on the VA now in FF XIII. Can anyone confirm this? December for Japan is very possible if this is true. (Ducky, looking at you)

The company that makes the PS3 heatsinks (name?) showed their 3G model recently... oooh.

Maybe this is the real reason why Last Remnant was delayed on PS3? :lol Or am I hoping too much.

I find it hard to believe that FF13 will hit before DQ9.
