Sometimes it's just their vibe that cause conflict. True Story I started with this new company and after training ended the new people went out to a bar for drinks.

So their I am sitting at one of those long bar tables and I had two gay guys on either side of me. Guy 1 was real excited to be near me talking about he gonna get real drunk. That made me uncomfortable. Guy 2 was just chilling and low key. We had a great conversation about being finished training and starting at the new job.

I think some gay people need to be mindful of how they present themselves to people and carry on.
