Do y'all still eat at Chic-Fil-A?

In my lifetime I've probably had it four times in different places each time and the chicken always tastes like flavorless, dry chicken scrotums

Who was trying to stop anyone from making private donations? People had issues with where the money is going and who it targeted.

Boycotters were hoping to change their minds on donating to groups that aim to criminalize homosexuality abroad and push anti-gay laws domestically, as those are controversial channels to donate to. People didn't say donations in general from the company or its board should be stopped as they do plenty of great donations. It was about specific causes opposing equal rights globally that the company's board support through specific donations. You're lost if you think people were trying to stop all donating in general rather than change their minds about wanting donating to a specific cause.
 
I usually think people who don't like chik-fil-a must not lay out 5 different types of sauces for their sandwich / nuggets like I do.

Chick Fil A is the only fast food that GAF seems to find acceptable. Every other fast food thread has far more insults than compliments, but CFA is the inevitable exception.
 
Yup. With the great food for a fast food restaurant and amazing service at almost every one I've been to it's hard to pass up.

Also even though it isn't healthy I feel like its the most healthy fast food I've eaten. I don't feel like crap like I do after eating McDonalds or Burger King.

Apparently there use to be one at my university but closed down before I got here. I've heard different stories of it not being up to chick fil a standards, flooding and they didn't want to mess with it, etc. Our president has said he would love to see them come back. Hype!
 
Probably about a couple times a month depending on if the kids want it or not. I don't eat much fast food.

Life's too short to worry if every product I support is funding causes I don't agree with. If the product is good, then I'll buy it.

If I ever get the urge for dry fast food chicken, McDonald's is closer and cheaper.

I was so excited the first time I got Chick-fil-A, after hearing nearly as many legends as White Castle, but it's just a selection of McChickens, made to McStandards. No thanks.
 
I care about a tasty meal more than I care about gay marriage... Unfortunately there aren't any where I live now but is stop if I'm ever close to one.
 
The owner believes in whatever he wants, and that's great.

I believe that Chic-Fil-A is arguably the best chicken sandwich ever. We all have our beliefs!

Not gonna lie bro, if I boycotted Chic-Fil-A because of their stance on gay marriage, I would have to look up and actively boycott every company that is against gay marriage. That's too much work for me, plus, what do I really care if they're against it? Cool, whatever, they've already lost the fight so does it matter?

I don't eat Chic-Fil-A though, but that's because I don't think their chicken is all that great.

Those fucking pickles. The one on the left looks like trash. I only order the CFA ones without pickles. And yeah I know CFA marinates their chicken in pickly juice, but it isn't a pronounced flavor at all. Unlike pickles.

I hope those are the things that get banned.

You know what? Fuck it, I'm calling this out more.

1. Marriage predates religion, or certainly predates the Abrahamic religions. It is not a 100% religious institution. In fact in America you can get a marriage license without ever needing step inside a religious building.

2. The Bible says a raped woman needs to marry her rapist. Modern America is not an Abrahamic theocracy.

3. Separate but equal is inherently unequal.

4. "something you don't believe in" implies that religious homosexuals do not exist. Gay Christians exist. Gay Jews exist. Gay atheists exist. But again, please see point 1. It is also ridiculous and frankly extremely bigoted to assert that gays are destroying the institution of marriage.

I live on campus with no car and the only fast food places on campus are Chik Fil a and Papa Jones. I seriously have to pick between the lesser of two evils.
 
I hadn't heard of the restaurant until all the homophobic stuff made the news... no CFAs in my area. I don't think I'd be a customer there though.
