Do you guys think Atlus will surprise us with Persona 5 at E3?

I read somewhere that Catherine was kind of like an experiment for Persona 5, mainly the art style and visuals.

I can easily picture Persona 5 on consoles looking similar to Catherine.

Persona 5 should bring back Evokers. That was what got me interested in the series in the first place.

They were a one off thing that sort of made no sense to people who played the games since the first one, I hope they never come back unless the p3 crew somehow make an appearance and are the ones wielding them

No, I don't.

I'd call this a pretty effective thread-ender.

I suspect Atlus might have a little somethin' for us, though.

I hope we at least get some sort of first look or something for Persona 5 by the end of this year. I'm super pleased by the warm reception that P4G is getting from the media and it's going to be the early jewel in the Vita's crown but I am salivating to have a Persona experience on the PS3 with art as good as Catherine's. That would pretty much be RPG bliss for me.

They still have two or three more P3/P4 ports to do before they can make a new one.

Yeah, they still have to do a P4 version with a FemMC.

Still bitter that we never got that for the PS Vita announcement

Persona 5 with a college/just started working setting, please.

Even better, P5 that takes place in an old folks home.

Lead character is a World War II veteran.

highly doubtful, Atlus USA would not be the ones announcing a new game like that

if it gets announced this year it'll be at TGS or a Famitsu reveal or something along those lines in Japan

I love Persona as much as the next person, but is anybody else hoping they go back to their "non-Shin Megami Tensei" titles?

I want Persona 5, but I kinda want Snowboard Kids 3 first.
That DS crap doesn't count

They'd need Racjin to develop it, since they did the two games for N64 and the PS1 game.

Yeah, but what could they be doing. Last good game they had was what, the third Fullmetal game that never made it stateside for some reason? Ahh well, maybe they will hear my cries one of these days.

I really should get around to playing P4 one of these days....Maybe I'll just wait and play it on Vita.

I enjoyed the first Trauma Center game a lot, but lost interest with each subsequent entry. I actually stopped after Second Opinon. What about Trauma Team makes it more enjoyable than the other two on Wii?

New types of gameplay to mix it up, great story. Awesome investigation segments, very reminiscent of Phoenix Wright.

Look at how fast a Persona 5 begging thread turned into a Trauma Team thread. Atlus, are you taking notes? Clearly it's obvious what the public wants:
Catherine 2
.

Would be completely fine with a re-imagining of the original Persona. Basically the original characters with the gameplay changed to basically play far more like an evolution of Persona 4. Of course, you would probably have to change the plot around for this to work, which is why I called it a re-imagining and not a remake.

Play UTK2 at least. I never got QUITE the same feeling as experiencing the first one, but it does a good job being more varied and not just saying "Well it's nothing but GUILT from here on."

If this is the case, then I may have to rethink the Trauma Center franchise. I got to one of the last levels on the original game on DS and literally broke my DS in frustration.

I've never been so mad at a game, but if Trauma Team is less frustrating then I may have to check it out.

The DS version of the first game is probably the hardest the series has to offer. Trauma Team is a much easier game, and it also has far more variety (6 different types of gameplay - surgery is only one of them).
