Do you put hot sauce on your eggs?

Always

Is hot sauce mainly a US thing? Living in the UK its always either ketchup or 'brown' sauce people use, at least amongst people I know. I'd not have even thought of making my eggs 'hot'. Could be interesting, I guess.

In another thread hot sauce is one of the USA's few growth industries, they fucking love it. I think it's because the food over there taste like shit* or something.

Not really,

Salsa in general is pretty good on eggs. But I've only had it a couple of times.

Never tried salsa verde in the same context, but the idea sounds brilliant. I love salsa verde.

Yes, but I use Hula Girl which is a chipotle / habanero hot sauce. I'm not crazy about the vinegar based sauces (Franks, etc.) on eggs.

no question. really, breakfast serves two reasons only:

1. Syrup delivery mechanism
2. Tabasco/Siracha/etc (insert yer favorite hot sauce here) delivery mechanism

Nope, never tried it. I don't think it would be a good combination.

Usually my eggs will be made with the following:

Onions, green peppers, some chilli peppers + a little bit of salt and black pepper.

Hey GAF, I was pondering putting some relish on a hot dog for lunch? Anyone got any experience with it? Any good?

Don't do it man! If you don't like it you'll have to scrape it off with a spoon or something or throw the whole thing out.

Shit. And here I was feeling adventurous for lunch too.

Maybe I'll just make some wheat pancakes for my daughter and I to eat. If only there was something to put on it though...
You know, in like, movies and junk, I've seen people put syrup or butter on their pancakes. Is that something that normal people do?
What'll happen if I do it?

Edit: Ah fuck it, never mind. I'll just slap two pieces of bread together and eat a bread sandwich.

I used to drown a pile of scrambled eggs in tabasco at this one brunch I went to on Sundays. It made the whole dish pretty delectable.

Hell yes, but it wasn't till three years ago that I discovered this awesomeness. My dad introduced me to this combo at a Waffle House in Lithonia.

I eat my eggs with pepper, melted cheese, sometimes some ham or corned beef thrown in it, and hot sauce.
I'll use Sticky Fingers Habenero Sauce or just some Tabasco or Chipolte Tabasco. If I'm out somewhere, I'll use some Texas Pete's, since that is the dominant sauce in resteraunts in SC it seems.
I do have some peach salsa that I might throw in some eggs soon.

I put it on a lot of foods; Mac and Cheese, eggs, sandwiches.

Although for eggs I do tend to favor crushed red peppers, especially if they're scrambled. Blends in much better than the hot sauce which can over power any other taste.

It's not even that spicy but I enjoy the flavour. Plus, I want to taste my eggs and not have a mouthful of burning.

Controversial opinion: Sriracha is overrated. Use a thinner sauce like tabasco or worcestershire for best flavor enhancement, otherwise all you'll be tasting is the sriracha.

If you must though, only add a couple of dabs of Sriracha and mix it in. It's not ketchup and shouldn't be used like ketchup, no matter how big a bottle Costco sells it in.

Here is what you do:

Step 1: Take frozen bacon out and cut against the grain about 4 thin slices (like under a half inch) and throw that in a frying pan (dont add any grease obviously).

Step 2:Mix 3 eggs in a bowl with some pepper, a splash of milk and a COPIOUS amount of the greatest sauce know to man as seen above. (Also if your a fan of onions, tomatoes, green peppers or mushrooms, they should be diced and added now).

Step 3: Once bacon has separated and is just about fried fully, add in eggs and scramble the bejesus out of them.

Step 4: Once eggs are cooked, add a little but of cheese on top (sliced or block really doesnt matter).

Step 5: Heaven
