I'll post my thoughts here, because the link isn't allowed anymore...

Lots of laughs, some great wirefighting, a few moments of excellent ciematography... and the girls were ridiculously hot. This and plenty of cheese, just as one would expect from a DOA movie.

I will definitely watch this again if it comes to theaters, and I will be buyign the DVD.

Google video just made me a paying customer. :D

Why, because someone isn't a sheep to the NeoGaf manic reply syndrom where once the first person posts how hilariously bad something is, everyone follows suit?

It was a fun movie.

I agree, the hang gliding scene was bad. Probably the worst scnee in the movie. Thankfully it got a lot better once they got on the Island. :)

I just thought that movie was really ****ing bad - couldn't watch more than a minute of talking and skipped through to the fighting parts - which were also really ****ing bad. No bandwagon here. :)

I liked it for what it was. A bad movie with a lot funny moments. It was more true to the video game series than Street Fighter was and the movie was far better.

Agreed... this movie is awful.

Almost MK: Armageddon awful, except we all know nothing could possibly be worse than that

Considering it's based on a game about bouncing boobie physics, I think they did a damn fine job of fleshing out a fun movie romp. I laughed numerous times, and like I said, enjoyed the fights. To each hsi own I suppose, just wanted people to know that it might be worth giving it a shot past the first few awful minutes because it gets better.

Agreed. They pretty much took a video game with a pretty bad story and made a movie with a pretty bad story but at least had a lot of fun with the idea.

The ONLY good thing about this train wreck was the Christie intro sequence. That was surprisingly well done, snappy, visually engaging, and stylish.

The rest of the movie made me want to dig out my eyes with a spoon.

Someone uploaded a pirated copy on googlevideo.

Yup, sorry for posting the link. The movie site my coworker got the link from seemed to suggest it was hunky dory although in retrospect, it was probably way too good to be true.

Just like the movie itself.

Except that there's no sign of abundant bouncing boobies in ANY of the women in this movie... wtf.

Anyway I thought it was ok.. I've definitely seen worse... Zack was great though, and I though the fight sequences with wirework were put together fine. Was surprised to see Eric Roberts.. what no more Best of the Best movies being made? ;)

and the extended cameo by Kevin Nash..... :lol :lol too much.

I see on ebay there are some other region Dvd releases out there so I'll probably pick one up on the cheap at some point in the near future.

"Princess Kuh-soo-me." *thud*

You know the guy who played Hayabusa does Century 21 cms here in Japan? It's really funny, because he speaks japanese throughout, and then says "CONGRATULATIONS" in the most yankee accent in the world.

Btw, I actually watched the entire movie. I feel like a terrible human being.

I loved it sadly enough since I grabbed a dvd rip a while back.
Took me back to the days of the American Ninja, Bloodsports, Kickboxers, Enter the Ninja and all of those types of just mindless fun movies.

There's good bad, and bad bad. This is bad bad.

Come on. Are you telling me that Tina's Father walking in on Tina and Christie wasn't good bad? Are you telling me Christie's intro wasn't good bad? The cheesy stats screen for every character as they received their intro... THAT WAS GOOD BAD.

THEY HAD HEALTH METERS!

Eric Roberts.

This movie was built to be bad. You don't cast Eric Roberts and expect your product to be good.

I loved the fight scenes between Christie vs Helena and Tina vs Zack. I also thought the Steve Nash (as Bass) "My daughter's a lesbian?" was funny.

I couldent believe I finished it, several times I wanted to just stop (like the sunglasses, and the hang gliding, and zacks balls, and a lot of other things)

and scene where the download starts going backwards followed CIA alerted was hilarious

I have to agree, I enjoyed it too. Not "pay $10 to see it in the theatres" fun but fun non the less. I just wanted more Kevin Nash scenes.

This is something I'll see with my friends one day for a ton of laughs.

Everything was hillarious, from the terrible lines, constant changing of camera angles in the fight scenes, and the hillarious physics in the fight scenes.

Best moments:

The fact she jumps over the tower of a sword and then flys with a hang glider.

The parachute jump out of the plane to land on the island. It was just like they were trying to hard to make the movie intense.

The part where Zack was dancing in the machine that did the profile and then said "This is like disco". He summed up how I felt there for sure. I thought of disco there.

Why the hell was Helena rollerskating while everyone else was training? What part of the game had her rollerskating.

The shotgun sound when Leon did that arm motion. I've never been so embarressed in my life.

The self destruct sequence at the end. I felt like I watched this movie before.

The Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon effects were cool in that movie but just embaressing here.

The part where they busted out the volleyball was pitiful, made worse by Zack, token black guy, announcing it. Not to mention his role in the movie was hitting on the white womens and dancing. Pretty stereotypical, but I don't want to start this debate.

I liked how the sunglasses gave the villian power. I can see that happening.

..Wait, what, do you know anything about cinematography? Holy crap. Sounds like you're just trying to be all "lol everyone hates it, if I like it I'll be original and cool! :D :D :D "

Hehe

Like I mentioned, the fight scene between Helena and Christie, the opening into sequence for Christie, and the well done flashback of her brother were all well shot IMO.

It was the Showgirls of Kung Fu movies. And I mean that in a good way. I am paying to see that in whatever format it arrives.
