I had to reread the message 3 or 4 times because I couldn't figure out what a "battle static" was. Probably because I was under the impression that whoever wrote the message had a fairly good grasp of the english language.

Major Nelson doesn't know what the update does either:

There is a ‘Dead or Alive 4‘ mandatory auto update now available. In addition, the leader boards are being reset. I’ll dig around and see if I can get more information to share.

How does he not know anything about the content they put up?

Holy shit, talk about a scare! I started DoA4, the system downloaded the update, and when it restart it asked for "player 1" to pick a save location! I thought the update had in fact managed to trigger the profile deletion bug, OMG, WTF, etc.

Still no idea what's in the update though! (I did choose to keep my stats, as I was doing pretty good online.)

i've noticed is it starts you on the last character you picked now instead of on kasumi/ayane

and it says their rank next to their name now

What about working towards the 50 online wins achievement? I still havne't gotten there yet.

Anyone that is already on my friends list that wants some free wins for easy Zack $$$ before I reset my stats is welcome to send me a msg on Live. Of course, if you could return the favor (so that I could get some Zack $$$ to buy stuff for my avatar) I would appreciate it but its by no means required.
