Does anyone like Kenny from the Walking Dead?

I didn't like him.
But I saw his value as a fighter so kept him on side

I've only played season one, bought in a Steam sale. Definitely worth playing through to the end in my opinion, though obviously no idea about season 2
OT, I didn't like him, but I felt horribly sorry for Kenny. Clearly not a guy cut out to deal with the zombie apocalypse, and copes particularly badly with his life turning to shit, though given what happens in season one I can hardly blame him.
Very good character, who does redeem himself at the end of S1 anyway. Gah, I need to get S2 out of my backlog :/
He is like one of the most famous characters in the games iIrc. Also my favourite. He can be annoying as all fuck but I think he also went through more shit than anyone else in the games.
He polarized and/but was right many times, helpful and gives you manly tears and, in my opinion,
by far the best and most logical ending of Season 2. I feel sorry for everyone who didn't go to Wellington (or further) with Kenny.

Did you miss the part where Jane came back for Clementine after leaving? Or the part where Jane explains her motivations for distrusting people like Kenny, based on what happened with her sister?

Yep. Despite all his imminent flaws. People who you love and are close to might have those imminent flaws. At least his heart's in the right place, which is more than I can say for Jane, who would sooner leave you to be zombie jerky than help you out in a bind.

Well Kenny is brash and sometimes jumps the gun, he has good intentions as well. He tries to do the best for his family (and people that are like family). So I like him because he has a good heart. Too bad it is cluttered behind a brash, ignorant thought pattern.
In Season 1, he tries to rescue Ben despite what the kid did. In Season 2, he sacrifices his place in the safe haven for Clem and AJ.
Probably the same guy who put his life in danger for Christa or Ben and the guy who sacrificed his eye for Clementine with Carver and the Walkie Talkies. Probably the same jerk who begs to let AJ and Clementine in Wellington because they're kids. Yeah that Kenny is a dick. -_-

He's just a stern dad figure. Ultimately, most of his decisions lead to slightly better results anyways. I do say ultimately because not all of his choices were right along the way

Kenny was a flawed man in a fucked up world, but his heart was never in the wrong place. He just wanted to look after the people he loved, and he'd protect them with everything he had. Dunno if you guys would survive very long in a zombie apocalypse if you don't agree with Kenny's tame actions, literally Kenny was about as humane as you could be in those situations without dying. When the world goes to shit all bets are off, you keep to your own and be wary of anyone else.

Kenny was my guy from S1E1, ever since he came back to save me at the drugstore. I took his side and helped him every chance I had after that.
My heart grew three sizes when he showed up in Season 2. I pulled the trigger to kill him at the end though because it was clear he had been going through a lot of pain and was about to break, I saw it as a courtesy. He thanked me. It broke my heart.

I think I got to the point where I concluded that pretty much everyone in the Walking Dead games outside of Clem, Lee and Carley is a douche.
dunno if that really needs to be spoilered considering how old the first game is now.
And two of them are dead.
You know, if you try push Jane away instead of Kenny she hits you hard down and Clem still almost loses her consciousness.

When the spoilers thread for S2 was out, it was like 95% pro-Kenny.
I have HATED him since Season 1. And spoilers for S2

I hated how the game felt like you had to play Kenny's game, if you disliked Kenny, tough luck... you were stuck with him till the end. If you liked him, it worked out fine... but not those of us who couldnt stand him

Kenny felt pretty human. He went through some insanely tough shit and while it's easy to judge a lot of his actions I was able to see his reasons behind them and sympathize. Whether I like him or not as a person I can't really say because he does come off as ignorant, racist, and kind of a dick in general but as a character he was fun to watch and I always rooted for him

I made him kill Duck while still believing I was his friend. The ultimate revenge.

I didn't like him half way trough, but loved him at the end. I think that may apply to many.
He might be a bit of a dumb asshole, but at least he is a lovable dumb asshole with a heart of gold. His intentions are good
but I still decided to pull the trigger ;_; (and left Jane after she betrayed my trust, Clem has become a strong independent woman who don't need no moronic companions to survive.)
I blamed him for that first incident in Season 1 and never forgave for the rest of the game. I think I actually made decision that I normally wouldn't just because Kenny was advocating it. However, in Season 2, he was the only one that I actually felt was loyal to me. So, even though I disagree with most of his position, I always go along with it.

I don't just dislike Kenny, I hate him. He's racist then tries to hide it, has severe mood changes and is as annoying as possible. He'd be left for dead or his head blown off early if it was up to me. Though I am glad he's in the game, it's a great psychology experiment. The amount of support he gets from people who play the game says a lot.

Siding with Kenny was around ~85% lol. No joke. Jade was a vast minority, and going solo was smaller still... but Kenny was the overwhelming majority people sided with. When i came to the spoiler thread I was honestly shocked people loved Kenny so much!

I don't remember all the percentages, but I know i was among only
30% of people that let Kenny kill Jane.
Kenny is a character who I think often gets misunderstood. He's very loyal if you are on his good side but the problem is that everyone gives him so much shit for doing anything. This becomes even more annoying in
, where he gets yelled at just trying to drive. His temper makes him seem like an ass but really I think him, Lee, and Clementine are the few characters in the game to understand that it's an eat or be eaten world. He makes very smart plans but they are usually ruined by other people trying to discredit him in rather jackass-ish ways.
Tl;dr: I like Kenny but dear god he never catches a break.
