Does anyone live with two Xbox ones / PS4s?

Already have a launch PS4, but I am sorely tempted by the white destiny bundle. I could move my launch one into the spare room and use it hooked up to my PC monitor, but I don't know how easy it is to live with two consoles.

Eg, do save games upload to the cloud as soon as you quit a game? So if I play eg Destiny in the spare room, and later the same day fire it up in the living room, will the saves already be synced up? If I have to do anything manually it would put me off.

I'd also have to consider the whole 'home' console thing. I've bought a couple of games from the US PSN store because they are so cheap, but play on my UK PSN account. That wouldn't work on a second PS4 right? I'd have to sign in with my US PSN and play with that account? Likewise my kids wouldn't be able to play any digital purchases on that one for the same reason.

I'll be getting a second one (White Destiny Bundle) and my wife will take my PS4. We usually end up with two of most systems so that we can play together or at least at the same time

Moving saves between the two would be manual, and no you wouldn't be able to access your US PSN account on both from other accounts on the systems.

Bought a PS4 because the wife decided she wanted one. Played the Destiny beta and Last of Us on it.

Enjoyed Destiny so much that we preordered a second PS4 with Destiny so that we can play it together like we did through the Halo series.

Interested in this as well since i might grab the white Sunset Overdrive bundle

Is everything automatic between the two X1s?

Another benefit would be that I could play multiplayer with my kids - not so many couch coop games these days. I'd need to be careful about the accounts so I don't get stuck always using the spare room one though :)

I'm waiting for the next revision. Last gen we had two xbox 360s. It is just so much easier to play games in bed before the kids get up but also have it out in the living room for the rest of the time.

Right now I have 4 PS3's in my home and 1 PS4. As soon as the PS4's media capabilities surpass those of the PS3(and they make an official media remote for the PS4), I will replace the PS3s for PS4s.

Even though I love my PS4, I am really disappointed by how gimped it is as a media machine compared to the PS3. And Sony better follow X1's lead and include MKV support.

Live with my two brothers and we have two xbones and one ps4 in the house right now. Getting a third xbone when the white SO bundle drops. If ps4 were to come out with some sort of must have multiplayer exclusive I'm sure we would get another ps4.

This should answer your question about saves:

Correct. You'll have to set the US PSN account to recognize the second console as a Primary/Home console in order for other accounts to access the games.

I have a launch ps4, and am getting the white subset bundle when it's out. But you have no idea how tempted I am to get the white destiny bundle and move my launch ps4 to the bedroom.

Don't have two myself, but as I understand it, you'd want to set whatever's in the living room to be the primary console for your UK and US accounts. That way the kids can play while you're off at work, without signing you in.

On the bedroom console, you'll only be able to access your digital games while you're signed in; physical copies aren't affected. I think that if you're actively signed in to the bedroom, your wife can switch over to her profile and play your games with her save files, but I'm not 100% sure about that part.

i have three PS4, and had four PS3.

1 PS4 in my bedroom
1 PS4 in my brothers bedroom
1 PS4 in the livingroom
The same with the ps3s, except that two were in my bedroom. (because i bought one from jap on nov 2006 and one on march 2007 (europe launch)

Have 2 Ones and one Ps4. The two xbox one's are awesome for playing garden warfare and diablo with the kiddos. Its a killer on bandwidth though, two copies of everything.

Damn son, Sony loves you.

Bought three XBOs on launch (there's a picture I posted on here before), up to four now and getting a fifth shortly.

Only one PS4, two PS3s (GF had her own before moving in), five 360s

Cheers. So auto uploading would only be on the primary console. For the second one I'd have to download-play-upload. Not too bad I guess.

This would be good to know, because then I could sign in with my US PSN and then switch to my UK account to play

Me: in my bedroom
1- Xbox One
1- PS4
1- Xbox 360
1- PS3

My brother: in his bedroom
1- Xbox One
1- PS3
1- Xbox 360

I'm thinking of buying another Xbox One (with Kinect) to put in the living room. I've caught myself saying , "Xbox, Volume Down" in the living room, followed by an awkward silence after realising there's no XB1 there.

I have 2 Xbox Ones, one in the bedroom, one in the living room.

Saves are always sent to the cloud so I as soon as I start the game on the other console it syncs my progress.

I also have my bedroom Xbox set as my home console so I all my purchased games can be played on there and then I log in with my gamertag on the one in the living room so I can play them all there as well. So every digital game is actually 2 copies and the GF and I can play them together at the same time, even online.

We have 2 PS4, and PS3 hooked up. 3 360s hooked up around the house. and an Xbone disconnected with a WiiU sitting hooked up on top of it.

Yeah, it is pretty nice to have multiple consoles.
One PS4 in my room, and another in my living room.
I want to buy another X1 for my room but I don't watch enough TV to justify the cost, but the X1 is a perfect media hub for my living room right now.

Not yet but I'll be getting my son a PS4 to compliment mine at Christmas....shhh it's a secret!
