Does anyone live with two Xbox ones / PS4s?

Media room, I understand. I just hate the idea of TVs in the bedroom (or guest room in this case).
You would hate my house then, we have TV's in all the bedrooms & kitchen. In fact the only room we don't have them is the bathroom lol :)

I have two Xbox One's (wife's idea) and they work wonderfully together. When I get finished playing on the projector in the basement, I'll head upstairs to my bedroom and continue where I left off.

Same here. We only have one TVs in the whole house. But then we have three iPads, three laptops and two PC monitors around the place.

Was thinking to have my PS4 on my PC monitor - no issues with scaling or colours right? No audio but I'll use the gold headphones.

Does remote play let you choose which PS4 to connect to, or will it only connect to your Vita accounts 'home' PS4?

I have 2 Xbox Ones, one in the bedroom, one in the living room.

Saves are always sent to the cloud so I as soon as I start the game on the other console it syncs my progress.

I also have my bedroom Xbox set as my home console so I all my purchased games can be played on there and then I log in with my gamertag on the one in the living room so I can play them all there as well. So every digital game is actually 2 copies and the GF and I can play them together at the same time, even online.
This. Same exact setup that I have. It works extremely well and is very convenient.

Yup we have 2 x Ps4...

You can share digital games, but have to buy on UK PSN account on the 'master' console. You only need to buy 1 x PS+ as well.

Buy Ps+ and all games on your main home console. Then your family member can use that console.

You play on the other Ps4 but make sure its not your home console, and don't buy anything on it, just download all the same games. You have to be logged onto PSN to play them on your '2nd' ps4 is the downside....

Coop games with 2 consoles and 2 x TV's in the same room = true coop heaven. Couch coop with your own 50 inch screen is the way to play...

AutoSaves to cloud only works on your primary ps4, which is a bit annoying.

We also have 2 x 360's.

i got 2 snes'es, 2 dreamcasts, 2 xbox's (og) , 3 ps1's, 2 ps2's, one gamecube, a wii, wii u , 2 ps3's, a 360 and a ps4. and one tv. none of them work together, but its great fun figuring out which scartcable is from which machine!!

And a partridge in a pear treeeee.

Seriously though that's a pretty cool setup mate.

I eventually ended up with 3 PS3s last generation, but only 1 of each of the current gen stuff so far until my son starts bugging me to upgrade the PS3 in his room.

I was under the impression that games are tied to the account so I could buy on either the primary or secondary console or PC?

Just curious since I plan to be a 2 PS4 household in the future.

I am interested in getting second Xbox One for my bedroom. But gonna wait for redesign I think. But I dont see point in owning two PS4. PSTV sounds really good, and if i want to play games other than living room, I would get that to stream.

btw do we have review and impression for this? Game quality doesnt compromise right? Otherwise thats useless.

And you have all these console under your TV? Hollyshit, thats some hot mess. I have PS3, 360, XOne and PS4. It still feels so many. So i packed up my PS3 and put it away for a while, gonna do the same with 360 once Halo collection comes out.

I will soon be getting Wii U so will end up having 3 console and receiver. Thats still too much wiring. I wish everything was wireless lol.

Edit

Sorry for the double post. On phone.

ITT people who are fucking rich.

I've thought about doing this with a friend. I can buy things perfectly fine even with my home console set to his?

My fiance' and I each have a PS4. Hers is in the bedroom and mine is in the living room. Whenever we want to play something multiplayer together we just hop onto our respective systems and have fun.

In the future when I finally get around to making our game/media room, I'm hoping to have a side-by-side gaming setup with a wall-mount tv for each of us.

Two PS4's since launch. Was a great move.

Your setup like me and my partner, but we tried the same room first. It leads to issues of who has the sound on lol.

I think we're going to eventually both wear gaming headphones, seemed to work out that way when we would raid in FFXIV.

I'm surprised that so many of you hate TVs in the bedroom. I have my PS3 out in the living room and my PS4/Wii U/Xbox in the bedroom with surround sound and a mounted TV.

Bed gaming is the best thing in the world.

To answer OP, no I just have one of each and I don't think I'll buy a second of either system.

Bed is for sleeping and casual reading before said sleeping. Couch/recliner/chair are for gaming and watching TV.

2 PS4s, 2 Vitas. One mine, one wife's.

We've debating getting one of the other systems, but the WiiU ruled itself out. XB1 needs more games. A lot more.

Go for one ear piece, trust me, or you'll be hanging half of them off your head to talk :D

You have a comfy gaming chair in the bedroom, then only have to move a short space to read / sleep / stuff in bed. It is however, usually further to the fridge, and I draw the line at a fridge in the bedroom.

Nope. What's the point?

Just like I watch Tv in multiple rooms, I like to have the option to game in multiple rooms. At onepoint I had four 360s. But I am down to one of those now, two Xbox Ones and a PS4. I want to pick up a second PS4 later this year.

Although I do want to get Second Son. And Gamestop is having a deal this weekend where you can get 3 months of PS+ and Second Son with the purchase of a PS4. So if I still have some Gamestop credit I might go ahead and pickup a second PS4 this weekend.

But if I do then that means I also need to get another 1TB hard drive so I can match what I have in my primary PS4. Although I don't plan on getting a second camera.

I'm getting a second bone with the Sunset Overdrive bundle (need that white) but I'm probably going to get rid of my current black one. I'm not 100% yet. Maybe I'll have two.

2 Xbox Ones
1 PS4
1 PS3
3 360
1 Wii U

and an assortment of other crap (N64...old xbox)

All this is split between Me and two step sons

My Man Cave is still a 360, but I will swap that out for either another XBone or maybe a PS4. That will probably depend on morpheus

This would be good to know, because then I could sign in with my US PSN and then switch to my UK account to play
I finally had a chance to test this, but no love. If I deactivated my console, my GF was unable to launch any content I owned, whether I was logged in or not.

Presumably, she could be logged-in in the background, allowing her to co-op in a game I launched, but I didn't actually test this. Not really sure I even own any games that allow this, actually. LBP did on PS3, but that's not out yet. /shrug

I had 3 360s for awhile, after some price drops I'm sure I'll have 3 XB1s(family room, bedroom, movie room)

No PS3s or PS4s? How come?

Have a PS4 now, more than likely getting a white XB1 (GF and her Xbox fixation). Depending on that, a second PS4 or XBO.

Damns thanks for testing, that really messes up my idea of buying more US PSN games. So when I get a second PS4, I wouldn't be able to play TLoU in the spare room of my UK account, because it bought it from US PSN :/

With two consoles it seems like you have to buy your games with an account that will be playing them on the second console.

Digital seems less flexible than physical, apart from the possibility to have two consoles play the same game under certain circumstances. With digital only one person can play a game on a second (or third) console. With physical anyone can play on any console. Digital is really convenient for switching between games, but this might push me back towards physical games
