John Harker
Definitely doesn't make things up as he goes along.
Does anyone play browser based RPGs anymore?
I'm just curious, I used to work for a company (OnlineWorlds.org) that runs a few.
I wrote for some a bit ago - I used to make Telnet MUDs back in the day too, which led me to writing for these as a hobby:
www.magerealms.com
www.galaxiesablaze.com
www.caravantrades.com
They are fun - if your sick of flashy graphics, using your imagination is sure a ball.
Galaxies Ablaze is actually really popular - voted one of the best on the web.
I got this review written a few ago, too.

Anyone care to share their old school web-based war game story/experiences?
