Does shaving really make your beard grow more? Personal Experience.

Go to the gym. My beard has made huge leaps in thickness in the last year alone from the extra testosterone. Being blond is tough.

This... has actually happened with me. It's very noticeable though it could be just a coincidence. Been lifting for 1 year and a half.

I think the thing with hitting the gym is that it keeps your face trim, and makes hair growth feel more obvious. I had an accident last year, broke bones in a few places and stopped going to appointments with my personal trainer - I've put some beef back on, and if anything the beard grows better now. Its weird, I don't think there's any rhyme or reason sometimes. I believe things like the presence of vitamin B in your diet are meant to help general hair growth etc. Fish, cereals, red meat, eggs. And when I picture people like this guy:

thats all I can imagine him eating tbh.

makes everything the same length so itll appear thicker, or at least fuller, because its maintained.

otherwise hair just keeps growing out anyway.

Letting a beard grow out and then trimming it two months later makes it more even/full. Shaving might let some hair poke out but letting it grow will actually...let it grow.

I don't have much of a beard and I've been shaving for ten years. So, no.

You could try a few things. Go to the gym, stop eating sweets, and manage your stress levels. That will boost your testosterone naturally. Maybe go see a doctor to make sure your testosterone is not below recommended levels.

I had very little facial hair until my 30s then it busted out. But it's irrelevant now thanks to the shit beard story. Even though proven false the damage has been done.

I personally think it's nonsense. I shaved almost every day for years and years, then one day, just stopped. Now I have a pretty sweet beard. Who's to say it would be any different if I had a different shaving regimen though?
