Dollar Tree selling $1 ribeye steaks

Wal Mart's steaks, which are really bland and leathery, do not even approach this level of awfulness.

Winn Dixie has the best steaks.

I used to watch Masterchef and they would shill for Walmart steaks. "Only 1 in 5 steaks are good enough to be Walmart prime steak" or something like that.

Steaks are not expensive. Hell, there's a place that will cook a steak and deliver it to you, along with a baked potato and a salad for about 15 bucks.

Do not buy a dollar steak.

I think people are under the assumption that steak is some high class luxury food. Honestly, when I was growing up and didn't have a lot of money, that's always how I thought of it. I didn't learn until I started shopping for myself that it's really not as expensive as I thought.

That video tho, holy shit. You couldn't pay me to eat that.

Exactly, just go to costco or cash n carry and buy a big pack of steaks. It cost more up front but cheaper by the pound. please don't eat any kind of non-canned food from a $1 store.

This is like those meat trucks that go around neighborhoods selling shit door to door. I don't trust that shit, it may be meat but no guarantee its from a cow.

Saw that at my local Dollar Tree, low quality crap right there. I come to the dollar store for cleaning supplies.

Dollar Tree has the best Orange slices.

Also they have a nice little selection of sugar free snacks and candies for my diabetic mom. Three soft pretzels for a dollar is nice. And small packs of frozen desserts that are perfectly yummy.

Their batteries last pretty long for a dollar too.

I would never eat frozen meat from a Dollar Tree.

Hell, Costco sells USDA *prime* steak sometimes. Expensive as hell ($20-$30/lb) but totally worth it.

Nope. Try the ones that come in a plastic container at Walmart. GOAT tier. lol

Most people that shop at Dollar Tree can't afford to spend $30 on a package of steaks or $15 for one meal. When I was on unemployment, $20-30 was often my food budget for an entire week. Also a lot of people in low income areas don't have access to real supermarkets and places like Dollar Tree areas close as they get. I probably wouldn't eat the Dollar Tree steak on its own, but it might be ok made with something else.

All the chemical tenderizer descriptions on the packaging certainly don't make it sound appetizing. They must have used the worst cuts from the oldest cows to subject them to that.

Dollar Tree is loaded with useful things that you'd be crazy to buy for more than a dollar.

For example

-Party supplies
-Movie theater candy
-Batteries
-Small storage bins
-Kitchen utensils and silverware
-Toys for the kids
-Puzzles
-Art and drawing supplies
-Poster board and tri board
-Hair brushes
-Toiletries
-Things for decorating your patio
-Halloween and Christmas decorations
-School supplies for teachers (like me)
-Spices
-Figurines
-Lighters

There's plenty of other stuff too. You should go there to look for the random stuff that Wal Mart gets away with charging $3-4 for, and walk right past the freezer section.

Lmfao today we went there and I joked that my fiancée would pick up one of their dollar pork chops. Any other time ever looks at me like, fuck this but she said it's not bad surprisingly.
