People wishing she didn't have that afro, do better
God that episode had me dying

So what do anti-afro people want instead? Hmmm?
I didn't even hear that they switched races for a character. Where was the controversy that always happens?
Love the look here. A lot of the Deadpool characters have an old school comic book feel to them, in a good way. I think this one carries that feeling extremely well. It's not in awkward territory, and it keeps the feeling alive.

She got the pouches.
You poor thing.
They did not switch races for the character. If I'm wrong about this I'm sure comics GAF will correct me, but I never read a comic that said otherwise.
To the best of my knowledge, Domino is not canonically Caucasian. She was literally white as part of her mutation.

White people hair.
Her features always looked distinctly Caucasian though at least when i was reading. Regardless, it was a more striking visual than this cheap-looking incarnation.
What a boring costume. I expected better after the awesome costume work in DP1.

Hmmm nahh.
Latino maybe....heck theres some books where she looks of asian decent....but ive never thought of her as fully white.
Arent a bunch of her code names latino.

straight up I wouldn't have noticed if this wasn't pointed out herelol @ Deadpool being the rug
I could do it without the afro tho.
The funny thing is she looks nothing like Domino and at the same time more like Misty Knight than Misty Knight in Luke Cage.
I want to say that some concept pics came out first, which gave people time to brace themselves and whine. Plus, when you get down to it this will be the definitive Domino for 99% of the people that see the movie. It's not like Superman or Batman where there is a ubiquitous image of the character for non-comic readers.
A beautiful woman with awesome hair who looks just like a real-life version of Domino.
"I don't like it."
I really don't know what some people expect. She looks incredible.

I'm confused... what exactly do people not like about this?
Source material? Outfit looks very typical sexy mercenary kinda thing that you see on domino.
Skin tone? I mean... the source is basically a dalmatian. Paper white with charcoal black blotch... Is that what people wanted? This has to be the best way to pull of the look without being absurd. Is the real problem with skin tone the painfully obvious one?
Hair.... really? A guess people want the "signature" short straight? She's had pixie before... The actual point of her hair is to convey an "I don't give a shit what you think" attitude. She's strong and reckless. Zazie Beetz with straight hair would convey a feeling of someone who cares much more about conforming to some arbitrary standard. Her hair is perfect for the personality of the character.
I guess I'm pumped because I like domino to begin with. I love her powers, the realm of marvel she works in, and her personality. After watching Zazie in Atlanta I was soooo happy when I heard she was chosen for the character. In my mind she is perfect. I think a lot of people are going to be pleasantly surprised.

Hm. Not sure what I missed. Guess he was serious, not serious(?). Still looks good to me. Please enlighten me. Did I miss something important?
Technically you're right. No one does though.... No one looks like a human domino. If we're talking about body shape... I mean... comic characters change body shape constantly depending on the artist.
It should be about personality. I mean did Ryan Reynolds look like a real life Deadpool?
