He sounds like a used cars salesman now. How sad.

The gaming audience this thing has to sell to doesn't see Kinect and TiVo functionality as having the same value that Microsoft does, so these statements about what a great deal it is can't help but sound ridiculous.

where is this from? I'd love to know

People were asking Major Nelson why Xbone was worth getting or something, and he was like "have you SEEN Titanfall? End of conversation," ... basically.

(Even though it's coming out on PC and Respawn all but confirmed it's eventually coming for PS4)

Sorry Don, I'm not getting a 2nd job for your overpriced, draconian shit-box. The only value I would find in it is as a new litter box for my cats.

This really has crossed over into delusion beyond Nintendo's wildest dreams. I know they're obviously trying to save face but now they're making 4D-esque comments.

At least Sony put in a Blu Ray drive and a weirdly powerful CPU that gave the PS3 the power edge.

These guys are just upping the ante by not even giving you more power on the box, or any sort of tech that will allow for better looking games than the competition.

I'd be scared if I were y'all. It seems like they're going the "keep repeating bullshite and people will eventually believe it" route. I'd like to think that doesn't work, but then I remember that some people *do* vote republican so it obviously works on some people.

I'm sure Sony said that about the PS3, but at least it was the cheapest Blu-ray player at the time.

and they'll learn what Sony learned. you can't compare pricing to "other consumer products" you have to compare pricing to other game machines.

just as other blu ray players being a grand didn't make a 599 ps3 a good deal, the iPad being $500 doesn't make the xbox one a great buy at that price.

This fucking company. Just crash already to get all these fucking jokers out of the positions they squat on.

It almost stopped being funny and just being sad. Almost. At this point Sony doesn't even needs to try anymore...

Competitor Sony will offer its PlayStation 4 at $400 this holiday season, but Mattrick believes consumers will choose Xbox One for its suite of exclusive services and applications like an improved Xbox Live, as well as Skype, Twitch TV, SmartGlass, and Kinect.

LOL good luck with that.

Getting some serious 2006 sony deja vu even on the PR front now..smh. Didn't they tell this guy last week when he made that mess?

Maybe for Live (probably not), Nope to Skpe, Nope to Twitch, Nope to Smartglass, Nope to Kinect

Its pretty painful to watch at this point.
