Can someone explain to me where is this thousands of dollars of value coming from? 2 free 360 games from XBL? Wait you can't play them on Xbone. So... free continuous health and body posture monitoring? Will it scan for hidden cancer while I play TitanFall? I mean I have to pay for Xbone itself, Internet, XBL, and the games... I think the value is rather terrible. Even taking a very passive stance on the DRM and and anti-game sharing, you still have a box that, after XBL and tax, will be over six hundred dollars before you can do anything with it. It's a lot of cash to ask, and it's not like it's some crazy piece of tech, at that.
I assume you'll still have to pay to use basic services like Netflix, etc on it, correct? And do they plan to give people games with XBL like Sony already detailed out for PS4 with Drive Club and the indie titles?

Play it through in your head; what scenario are you envisioning? Sony was going to announce $499, until MS did so themselves, and then Sony decided to take a $100 freaking dollar hit per unit to get the upper hand? Sony isn't in that position. Or do you think they were going to announce at $299, and then bumped it up because MS overshot?
It's just a silly theory tossed around by people who don't get that these things are determined YEARS in advance. The only last minute decision Sony MAY have made would be "well, we weren't sure we were going to announce our price, but once MS showed their hand at $499, we just had to."
And I don't even believe that, as where else but E3 would Sony announce?

Adam Boyes actually said that the price was pre decided in his GT interview. He did also say They were slightly surprised at Microsofts price.
Are the X1 and 360 versions of Titanfall crossplay? Because if not, most people are just going to buy the 360 version so they can play with their friends, while the people who spring for the X1 are likely to revert when they realize that can't play with anyone on their friend's list.
