Oh shit. lmaooooooo

Microsoft has nothing to offer good for consumers, but hey, at least theres Titanfall. - Is the joke.
Came from; Major Nelson dodged a question, by asking the reporter if they've seen titanfall. (The question was about drm iirc)

Someone..source... pls..

edit: ty @ above.

He also said the.exact.same.thing on an Angry Joe interview. Like word for word. It was amazing.

Edit: a big fuck you to the asshole that spoiled game of thrones. I hope you like your permaban.

I don't think there would be an issue if they cut Kinect, thereby cutting $100, and gave up on the pointless disc based DRM.

The E3 presentation was really good. Can't see any issues in it. They showed tons of games I'm interested in and fulfilled the promise they made in that regard.

Already preordered and paid in full. Same with a PS4.

Aside from the restrictions placed upon used-games, I think the Xbox One is a fantastic prospect for those who may be interested in it, especially for those who will appreciate what Kinect will offer for their family if not themselves. I've seen children use Kinect and they have a blast with it
You talk about the restrictions as though they're just some tiny annoyance. It's like saying:

"Aside from forced anal sex, I think going to prison is a fantastic prospect for those who may be interested in it, especially those who appreciate what not feeding an additional mouth will offer their family. I've seen homeless people love prison because it keeps them out of the cold and keeps them fed."

At least Sony had a reason to be arrogant after they dominated the competition with PS1 & PS2.

MS doesn't have any real reason to be arrogant at all. Back in the Dreamcast/PS2/Gamecube/Original Xbox era, almost no one around the world cared about the Xbox brand. The only reason that they're successful with the Xbox 360 was because of Sony's foul-ups with the PS3 (Robbie Bach admitted it). And now they're willing to throw away everything that they just built up for the 360 after they worked so hard to get the Xbox brand name popularized within the gaming community (y'know, the hardcore gamers that got the brand to where it is today).

is there a way to report posts on gaf? i dont want other people falling victim to the hteng post, its right on the bottom of the page and everything so people wouldn't see the warnings.

the people that built xbox and the early part of 360 all left.that is why you see this new direction.

It was a reddit interview. Right here. The TitanFall thing happens at about 3:50.

Am I the only one who gets less and less interested the more they talk about the non-gaming features? I mean, aside from the fact that you have to have a cable box to plug into this box, the whole reason I watch TV is because I'm not in the mood to play a game (and vice versa).

So the last damn thing I need is constant invites and shit popping up on the screen while I'm watching something. And even if you can disable that (which defeats part of the purpose of buying the console), I also hate the idea of having half my screen real estate taken up by Skype calls and other nonsense. And controlling my TV with Kinect? Why? Because waving my arms is so much easier than tapping a button on my remote?

While I'm on the subject, literally the only upside I see to the forced Kinect integration is the trolling opportunities. During every online game, I'd spend every match shouting "XBOX OFF, XBOX OFF, XBOX OFF!" in the hopes that my voice sounds close enough to someone else's that their Kinect will be confused and shut off their console.

Wouldn't this turn your own XBO off first? :/

Kinect 2 will barely hear any sounds, if any from the speakers. So that won't happen.

Can't you troll yr friends while they are playing?

Friend beats boss on hardest difficulty, I shout "Xbox off"

Xbox shuts down, friend loses progress
Rage quit, sells xbone, buys ps4 + Wii u
