I'm repeating myself, because I've said this in probably half a dozen threads already, but I really can't emphasize enough how utterly cowardly the vast majority of congressional Republicans are. They are more afraid of losing a primary against an even further-right conservative candidate than in standing up to Trump. These guys, by and large, didn't express an ounce of moral courage against Trump when he was a candidate, they're sure as hell not going to say anything now that he's the president.

I want to say there's a line, and bring a MASSIVE threat to national security should be well over it, but I really don't know :/

I wouldn't be lying if I said my first thoughts on that quote didn't immediately jump to "Illuminati!" or "Aliens!" but he's likely referring to the immensely horrifying burden of having possibly millions of lives dependent on pressing or not pressing certain buttons.
