Difference is we are talking directly to the OP. If they waited to confront the guy/girl it would be a better comparison.

So it's not a waste of energy really..it's a response to his story.

They definitely communicated their position to the parker, in a very clear way, which responded directly to the parker's conduct.

I hope the silver pickup in front of their car left first, letting them easily drive forward out of the space leaving the carts untouched. I'd imagine him or her thinking, "Nice try, shit lords. Get rekt."
 
People in this thread world are too uptight. If this was a normal thing she does all the time then sure. Sounds like she was bored and wanted to have a little fun. No big deal.

One time, my brother had left some dirty boxers in the car, so I deposited them on the windshield of a double-parked Maserati. That felt pretty good.
 
I would probably have just returned those carts to the proper area, thereby negating the thoughtless parking with a helpful deed to the store employees.
 
Way to fight a (possibly) inconsiderate person by being a definitely inconsiderate person. Now the employees have to go round up the carts because some bored person decided to "teach" a guy a lesson. Also, carts have wheels. So, I hope she considered that her little "lesson" could potentially cause damage to somebody else's vehicle.

But, I mean, other than being sort of a jerky thing to do, it was totes funny. Wicked prank.
 
I like this bit of public shaming. Might not change anything but at least it's good for a laugh. Your wife is awesome.
 
So your wife's plan of action was to take on a shitty parker by making the lot an even worse place to park in? We all know that dude is just going to move those carts into open spaces. The wife and parker sound like peas in a pod really. She sure showed something all right.

Presumably the bad parker went into the spot thinking "no one really cares". Now he or she will know better next time he or she comes into this opportunity.
 
Ignore the uptight posts OP, I have always wanted to do this when people buy new cars and take up two spaces or park horizontally of all things.

Oh she got them!!! Nycuk nyuck. Hopefully they attach LED lights to the car next so you can see it in the dark.

Leave a note, don't put a bunch of carts around a car an asshole will just push out into the parking lot, causing more problems.
 
I can't believe there's so heavy double parking defence force on GAF. Well, there was the pedophile defence force so maybe I can believe it.
 
It's now "uptight" to think of other people and how your actions can affect them. This is what has lead to "prank" videos with people just doing all sorts of horrible shit to random people. "Lol, don't be uptight bro, it's just a prank!!!" Granted, this is the milquetoast version of it, but I'm having a hard time wrapping my head around why so many people are supportive of being a jerk to innocent people based on a wild assumption.

Dozens of teeny Youtubers personally offending or attacking other people while reciting "It's just a prank bro!" is far from inconveniencing somebody who parked in two spaces, to most likely make sure his ride looks good, by having to move some shopping carts.

You can't compare double parkers to innocent people. They are cunts who deserve having their cars keyed.

You are aware that A) somebody has to put the carts away B) freewheeling carts in a parking lot do damage to other people's cars and C) you have no idea if this guy is parked like this because he's inconsiderate or because he pulled in when the lot was less organized? But yeah, some guy possibly mildly inconveniencing you is definitely deserving of having their stuff damaged. You're a prime example of the kind of person I'm talking about. Thank you for making it easy.
 
At my local shopping centre they have cameras that cover the thousands of spaces.

If you park like an idiot they announce throughout the whole centre for you to move your car and read out your number plate etc. If it isn't gone within ten minutes then your car is removed and you are fined.

I was shocked to see the behavior of the average Joe in traffic whenever I've been in the US. Someone changing lanes 50 yards ahead on the highway my friend goes "Motherfucker, just cut me off!" - Me: "Man, just chill out"

I don't disagree. I'm simply saying that as a way to point out a dick move, I think this is one of the more innocent ways to go about it.
