Slightly off-topic but has there been any further examples of the politically incorrect humour that was part of the initial reveal? I hear regular updates about gameplay but I feel as if the humour doesn't come up now and I'm wondering if it is downplayed or removed?

Don't get me wrong - I loved Doom 2016 but it has nothing to do with doom lol. Doom 1 and 2 are more of an action puzzler... kinda more like halo than heavy action game like doom 2016. Even doom3 was a bit closer to original doom 1 and 2 (moster closet).
And this one looks even more arcadey
