Hey guys, I'm looking to buy a laptop since I'll be going away for University.

I've been searching some and found a decent one, could you guys tell me how well it would be able to play Dota 2 at 1920x1080?

Full HD 15.5" screen
CPU: Intel® Core(TM) i7-2640M 2.80GHz
RAM: 6GB DDR3 SDRAM
GPU: AMD Radeon HD 6470M

Should be absolutely no problem to run it at max. Even a 6470m is not going to be having problems running Dota 2 at max.

answer to my question then, just curious.

He's a pure damage carry that gains through int, meaning he pretty much always has a shitton of utility. His ult goes through BKB, his pure damage goes through MR and armor. His passive is insane. He can completely break apart a teamfight. What's not to like? He is really strong, if given farm.

Very early harass, his glaives easily spammable, and his passive is amazing to stop people from bursting you down quickly. His global silence also give you an awesome chance to change things in your direction.

Not sure, maybe there is a loophole for streams? Every streamer does it haha. Also he works in a real office for a real company, maybe they have something for it. Not sure.

Other streamers can get away with it due to their lower viewership but Tobi is bringing in over 10K people for a lot of these matches. Anyways, I was just curious since he brought up the fact that he noticed that over 6K people were staying in the stream while music played (which is more due to the imprecise scheduling of these matches rather than his musical taste)

uh? No I mean why he isn't never picked if he's so strong as you guys are saying.

Hey guys, I just watched the game between mouz and dts on twitch.tv, and I love watching dota 2 games when someone is commenting so I can understand what happens (never played it). However, is it possible to view that scoreboard/stats screen somehow?? I remember watching another tournament and then I was able to have the scoreboard in a separate window somehow.

Found this on reddit.

The International had a live updating score screen, which was super cool. Other streams don't have this though, unfortunately.

Either own3d.tv can't handle alot of viewers or their servers suck cause it somehow always lags when we're above 10k viewers. Yet it only lags in sub-HD and never in HD.

Almost 20k viewers for tobi, nice.

Fun game too, AM got MEGA FARM and is still shut down late game thanks to BM roar and chainstunning. Great plays.

The same reason so many others are not picked. We live in a game of trends. A few months back, you saw a lot of Silencer carries.
we'll see if things will change then, not only thanks to new heroes.
a lot of heroes tho are not picked 'cause they just suck.

answer to my question then, just curious.

The pool is oversaturated with int heroes. Silencer excels against strength heroes with small mana pools, who have one or two devastating spells. The Meta is push orientated, carries are less important right now, especially one like himself who gets stronger indefinitely. With the current pool and game strategy he's a poor pick. You'll only see him as a counter to one or two strength heroes.

Just because he doesn't fit the current game style doesn't make him a bad carry. Hes a bad pusher and sucks in early teamfights. As the pool broadens you'll see the game shift and he'll be picked up.

Problem is that he doesn't suck. Same reason you see people go the same heroes, there's better team compositions out there.

We saw Tiny for a bit in the competitive scene, and now he just faded away. Does that mean Tiny sucks?

Or we've seen Brew Master being ignored these past few games. Does that mean he sucks?

Lots of heroes are good. It's a matter of building teams around the sort of playstyle that hero brings.

Tiny is great and actually Brewmaster is picked a lot these days, just saying that there are heroes that just suck so they are not picked 'cause they suck, not because they don't fit in the team or something like that.
I wasn't sure about Silencer so I asked.
