You named 3 out of the 5 best mid heroes in the pool, that would shit on almost every matchup. Luna is mediocre at best in the mid lane, but she stands a better chance then going solo against an aggressive dual lane where she can't contest anything. But realistically what it comes down to is how shitty the hero is, really only useful when you can get Satanic, Butterfly, Manta, before that you have to pray that the enemy team is dumb enough to always fight where there are no creeps, or wander around solo and die to eclipse every time. Really similar to Juggernaut in that aspect, which is probably why Procarbine likes her.

PERFECT. To be accurate, though, I like juggernaut because he's like luna.

So I just got into play in this two days ago and I'm hooked. I'm horrible but i'm having a blast. Right now I need to learn when to initiate and when to hang back. I'm playing single Draft with two friends and so far I've really been enjoying it. The videos in the op helped a lot to grasp the basics.

Gonna guess it hits open beta during or after The International. Apparently Valve doesn't have the server capacity yet to service everyone interested in the game.

Which is wild to think about. Look at those concurrent player numbers at any given time and is still closed beta. This thing could be a real monster.

I just had a game with an early abandon, but I got Wisp, and there was a Luna on my team, she was the early abandon. I stuck it out just to screw around with Wisp, and Luna while I was dead. Wisp is FUN AS HELL. There was this part where there were 3 guys on me in the river, I teleported back to fountain, recovered health, and went back into the fray. Still got my ass kicked, as they were all more fed and waiting for me, but still I can see the fun in this.

Luna is FAST by default, with boots she's ridiculous.

Correct. The only thing you can buy in the store are cosmetics, and doodads like tournament passes, things let you rename your cosmetics, get strange cosmetics that track stats like kills, and items that let you earn cosmetics even faster.

I unfortunately didn't get to experiment with the Tether much because everyone left except for Phantom Assassin, who idled in fountain after everyone else left. I love the idea of being able to use it as a tripwire though. Before Luna left, I tethered to her and I turned on my third skill. That was pretty cool.

Yeah getting the same thing. I tried deleting everything in the Maps folder then verify the game. No luck. Then uninstalled the game and reinstalled. No luck.

Love high tier games where you have competent team mates.

20 minute mid rax down, most tier 3's down, ursa with 2 roshes, shotgun morphling with early etheral blade... so we spent the next 30 mins doing hard defense and four defend one luna. Decided to go divine rapier/daedalus, got a rosh, did a team fight and luna just annihilated them so bad with the bouncing glaives. Our team was perfectly setup for her, puck + tide hunter locked down ursa and morph with ravage followed by silence and dream coil. Proceeded to demolish their backdoor protected base with ease.

tldr Luna is insane with rapier.

Luna is the only hero I have ever beaten Mega Creeps with. Its just so much damage, shes great.

Manta, Butterfly, Satanic, BKB, Divine, Travel. Beat Mega Creeps for me more then once .
