The streams and media they've been putting out for this are great. I no longer worry it'll be like the shit stain that was DA2. Game looks great.

Seeing the same dragon fight the same giant in the same spot has me wondering about the AI in this game. Though I guess it doesn't matter too much, even if all the fights are scripted, if they're engaging and different from each other.

These encoutners are all scripted. As far as I know there is no ambient AI outside of some of the wildlife.

In other words, Giants don't just wonder aorund and stuff or have goals/routines, etc.

According to the PAX AU stream yesterday, a lot of encounters are scripted but there are still some randomly generated encounters as well.

Encounter zones regenerate way too fast.

That actually decreases over time. So every time you wipe out bandits for example the "bandit population" decreases and eventually will be gone, but some other enemies might move in and take their place. Same with wildlife: if you overhunt bears in a zone you might not find any for awhile.
