The eyes are the only characteristic I'm not overjoyed with, all the options seem a bit soft.

My character is nothing particularly revolutionary in terms of character design but he'll do.

There are 6 different origins based on race (and in one case class). That's probably what you're thinking of.

I tried to make ye olde wizard type guy, but he came out like he's really worried about something. Maybe if I give him the experienced voice he'll feel more Gandalfy. I'm not sure why, but I thought there was going to be a lot more options than this.

Seriously though, you can clearly see from this small part that the game is clearly developed for the PC and afterthoughts for the consoles. Just the way you can upload and compare your characters to Bioware's Dragon Age: Origins online community website is pretty smart. On top of that the extra challenges they're tying into the game (also to be compared on the PC website) will make the PC the platform of choice...

Depends on the race. I didn't care for any of the female elf voices, but the female dwarf ones are surprisingly good.

How are you guys taking screenshots? There doesn't seem to be a folder for them when I push print-screen and nothing is copied.

Well, try pressing Alt+PrintScreen, Alt-Tab to Desktop, open MSPaint, press CTRL+V.

I took mine with Fraps - I think I'm done for now.

And I agree on the female elf voices.
One positive point: even this character creation "demo" has a Vsync checkbox in the graphics options.
