If you buy Ultimate on Steam, are you still able to download the special various exclusive items if you have the html addresses?

Do you have the original DAO? I just registered the serial key of Ultimate with the same profile on the bioware social account and had access to all the dlc plus the bonus stuff from the collectors edition i had already had.

EDIT
Didn't read that part. You could do that btw?!

Nice. Next 50%+ off sale on Steam? Bought!

Yep. There's this faq on Gamefaqs with download links for some of the items.

Just picked up the PS3 version, since all the dlc is on one disc. I used to have the original for the 360. But it was weird opening the case and seeing a voucher for blood armor to be used with the PS3 version of Mass Effect 2.

At any rate, wow a 7 gig install. Glad I upgraded from my old 60 gig system.

Anyway, can't wait to dig into this game again.

Unless it uses a serial-key, how could it? Discs are read-only.

You could do the same thing with the Shivering Isles disc for Oblivion. Borrow it from a friend, install it, carry on using your old disc.

I guess they could have done it by forcing you to be connected to the EA servers to play but of course you don't. You're right, borrow/rent, install and enjoy :)

Most of the DLC is pretty meh, but I'm loving Awakening so far.

Still want my Return to Ostagar DLC. >_<
