Krillin forced Goku to go Super Saiyan. Tenshinhan was embarrassed by base Gohan who is on par with base Goku.
 
After the last page or two Tien better be in this game so people can stage Krillin vs Tien fights, no tagging no assists final destination style.
 
Couple points, #1 Krillin would get bodied by the thunder shock surprise just like Tien, #2 Tien tanked two hits from tryhard Gohan and got up without a scratch, #3 Krillin vs Goku was a test, not a serious fight.

Tanked? He couldn't even see straight after getting hit. And Gohan knocked the shit outta Tien, anyway.
 
Meh, I love both and ultimately I really don't care who is stronger
it's obviously Krillin though
OT : I hope TenShinHan is in the game and has Taiyouken as an assist, now that it's known that Krillin doesn't. I believe dude can be awesome as a fighting game character, especially when designed by ASW.

Senzu bean actually feels pretty random to me as an assist that I'm starting to think they're saving Taiyouken for Tien.

Tien is the director's favourite character, so he's almost 100% going to be included.

So much of dbz filler was very well done.

The otherworld tournament was the only one that felt boring to me.
 
Krillin doesn't have solar flare from what we've seen, and there's only one other character that uses that move that's prolific enough to be in Fighterz

Are we sure that senzu is an assist ? The way I read that screenshot is that Krillin lauches a senzu on stage, and I guess gets his own health back by walking on it, and if you tag an another char in they can take the senzu for themselves. It sure looks like a move he has when he's active and not an assist. Maybe it's both, though. Don't know, I'm probably wrong and a trailer will probably clarify that soon enough.

I highly doubt he'll be a character, but truth be told Imperfect Cell deserves a spot in this game.
 
So what is the team you guys plan on maining in the beta?

Piccolo looks awesome and I'm curious to try it but I tend to not enjoy stretching arms characters in fgs. I'd love to use Gohan since I'm a big fan of the character but he seems to have a very dull moveset. I hope that Ultimate Gohan will be more interesting.

From the characters revealed the ones I'm most excited to try are Trunks (the sword moves and follow ups they showed look incredibly cool), Freeza (seems to have the most interesting moveset with a transformation, a wake-up super, an exclusive assist, and lotta projectiles), and Krillin (I'm very interested in how they will balance the weaker characters, and stuff like multiple unblockable destructo discs and senzu bean assists imply a very interesting character).

What about you guys?
 
Probably Trunks Goku and Krilin/Piccolo depending on who I like the most.

Also, everyone seems very confident they'll get in the beta.

I remember the fucking injustice 2 beta......

I'll go with Krillin and Piccolo myself as I'm sure they will be on my final team (even if they suck, I'm one of those dudes for whom characters are more than a function).
I'll give all of the other chars a fair try for the third spot. It will be Ten or 18 if it doesn't make it in the final game though.

Cell and Piccolo are the only ones i kinda want to play out of the current roster, so those two. I'll just rotate the last spot.

If i manage to get in that is....
 
Kind of funny that Krillin and Frieza are sounding like a good pair in a zoning team in a very early theorycrafting stage, haha.

If I manage to get into the beta, I'll try playing all characters of course. My main goal would be to make a Krillin team work though.
