Also love how SSjB Goku's intro is pretty much taken straight from the RoF scene where he transforms in front of Frieza for the first time.
It's the move he uses against Hit in the Universe 6 Saga of Dragon Ball Super.

So that's why SS Vegeta doesn't have Galick Gun. He never used it that form anyways 
Yeah, even though I'm grateful for the SSB inclusion, I'm still somewhat disappointed that they decided to ditch the RoF outfits. They would have helped differentiate SSB even more from their SS counterparts, but this is what we get at least I suppose :/

Yup pretty sure they threw those costumes away over a year ago at this point and they only existed for a brief period *rof-universe6*
If anything else, you could say it reflects how the two looked during the latter parts of Super. Not to mention that with what I've been reading, seeing the two in action apparently has made some believe that Goku Black's chances of getting in just increased due to Vegeta's moves looking like when he fought Black.
Honestly if anything else, I will probably stand by the idea of either Hit making it in as the only Super rep, or (if there will be two Super reps and not counting the "Golden Blues") Goku Black getting in with Zamasu playing as Goku Black's assist.
Either way, at least we didn't have to speculate too long as to how the SSBlues would work as much now. Hopefully we will see some more reveals a month from now when the TGS takes off.

I'm aware of that and it is a shame, but you can't deny the RoF outfits would have been great as visual differentiators from the regular outfits. In a perfect world we would've gotten them.
Again SSB being in those outfits is because the way Arcsys animates and develops this game. It is far too much work to change costumes. Even changing some of the normals and super attacks is enough work as is.
SSB saiyans were probably gonna be fully DLC characters (different costume and all), but were afraid of the backlash that might come from fans if they weren't in the base game and they changed their mind on the idea.

You're right, but it would make it easier to differentiate them in the game. Plus the RoF outfits were pretty much designed with making the blue form look as good as possible

I think they use the base costumes because from a development perspective that just makes sense. Doing new costumes for these characters is a lot more work for no real tangible benefit

I really hope they at least change the Kaio-ken x10 Kamehameha to what Goku's SSJ3 one looks like. The basic level 1 Super Kamehameha being used looks really out of place. Everything else looks really good though.

Same, they're cool outfits but they really don't make a difference to me at all. I stopped caring about outfits when I was let down 9/10 times hoping Ultimate Gohan would have a Kai outfit alternate in almost every DB game he was in.
They would have helped diferentiate what looks to be a simply hair swap from a glance. That's it.
Since Hit is likely to be in the game anyway, Matthew Mercer is replacing Aaron Roberts as the voice of Hit in Dragon Ball Super. For reference, Aaron Roberts voiced Hit in Xenoverse 2.
Yeah definitely, I would've decided doing same considering the workload that this takes and the costumes are irrelevant in the current arc.
Since the SSBlue saiyans are in, Hit and SSR Black are almost locks for the base roster. Beerus is a given.
Now I hope for Kid Buu, Majin Uub, GT Pan and Nappa (if he looks like his Extreme Butoden appearance) to make it in the game now.

We know there's another version of Gohan already since Teen Gohan is called "Gohan-Y" in the official site's codes. Goku, Vegeta and Buu are also the same, and we ended up getting SSJ Blue.

I think Ultimate Gohan/Great Saiyaman is more likely than Kid Buu, since they're still treating Freezer/Cell/Fat Buu as a group

Bruh, SSj2 Gohan even has a variable on his URL on the website like Goku and Vegeta did. Ultimate Gohan is a lock, especially if the story mode is taking place around what looks to be RoF/Super era.

Honestly, I think it would be fair to say that we will see Gotenks, Kid Buu and (at least out of Super) Beerus. But because of the setting of the story mode, it does feel obvious that Adult Gohan (or "Ultimate Gohan") would be seen too. Part of me would like to think that they would go with Ultimate Gohan just for the sake of enabling him to be a pure badass (since sadly just "Adult Gohan" was a bit of a punching bag).
Still going to hold out for Hit to make the roster (and now that I've been convinced on it, also a "Goku Black" with Zamasu assist).

Toriyama decided for himself that Gohan was unfit to be the main character so he dumped him.

Early Buu Saga Gohan was what buried his character. It's hard to sympathize with the "talented youngster with lots of potential" when he didn't train for 7 years in spite of knowing that he'd need to take care of any future threats. Toriyama has spoken in recent interviews that he started the Buu Saga without even thinking about the next enemy, and it's pretty obvious by the lack of any structure there. Toriyama himself buried Gohan.
